Can’t even create an account
Welp, that didn’t last long. Can’t even create an account to get started. The “create account” button doesn’t do anything.
Please get this working mailwasher guys
This could be so useful if it actually worked and synced properly with the desktop program. So often I want to be able to block a domain from my mobile device - at the moment I have to put it in a folder then wait till I’m in front of the computer to actually block the domain.
Also if you could add a command to block the top level domain rather than just anything after the ‘@‘. So often spammers use multiple sub domains but have the same tld.
That would be amazing. I love the program just needs some polishing - there’s really nothing else out there that’s as good.
The other thing that would be great would be to take the whole program into the cloud so it could be a subscription service rather than a one off payment. I’d happily pay let’s say $3 a month for online screening and blocking. Or even a smaller amount on a per account basis. Maybe there’s already plans for this I don’t know.

The idea of the app is great. Easy to use, but it only works about 1/2 the time. Always having server connection problems.

This app seems to be working fine for me, I have used the desktop version since it was released and have always been more than happy with it, and this mobile version is no exception, great app that effectively gets rid of the junk from my inbox!

Can’t understand why the last update to the app for iOS was in 2015?! Surely the developers at Firetrust know that SPAM generated emails are an evolving issue and as such the app should be evolving if not at the same pace, then not too far behind....
Because the iPhone app does not match the PC-based version which I quite happily pay for as a PRO version, I have deleted this app from my handset. If it ain’t working as it’s supposed to, then why persevere with a substandard app and service??
If and when Firetrust ever decides to update the iOS version of MailWasher then I will look again to re-installing it but as things stand, three years between updates is not just bordering on negligence, if it allows infected SPAM through to handsets, it IS negligence on the part of the developer.
If Firetrust is not going to update the app and it is not really fit for purpose (just look at what other folks’ reviews have to say!) then why make the app available in the App Store at all??
