Version: 1.200 problem. Do not update.
After update to Version: 1.200 cannot connect via WiFi. Device DR550-2CH. Phone connected to camera, but application said Cannot find BlackVue.Sashkaf
IPONE 5 STOPS REGISTERING WITH NETWORK
After many hours talking to my network provider( VODAFONE) they have informed me that after periods of no use (nighttime) the phone it stops registering with the network.
So I returned the phone to apple blaming the phone and they replaced it with a new one.
Set the replacement phone up as a new phone so as not to reinstall any bugs from my back up. The only two apps I installed were Tomtom & Blackvue, Over the next few days I tested it by ringing it fist thing in the mornings and was very disappointed to find it would divert calls even tho it had good signal quality.
So I removed the Blackvue App and over a few days repeated the tests only to find the phone rang every time.
So it's my conclusion that there is a problem with the Blackvue App.Show lessAnts09876
Great little
This is a very handy app. Can use it to convert my rear camera into a reversing camera. I can do everything it claims it can do. Change my settings, fix the camera angle and save files to my phones memory. My only complaint is that there's no ipad version.Crazeylooney

Wi Fi
Internet data on the phone gets blocked when the camera connects via wifi. Can't use Safari and mot able to send/receive emails. I have to terminate the wifi connection to get my phone functioning again.George919

Need iPad App for USA Store
I really want this camera for my vehicle, but I will not buy it until there is an iPad Mini App for it in the USA App Store. I want to inside rear mount the camera & see the video on my dash mounted iPad Mini - In my opinion, the iPhone screen is just to small for how I want to utilize the camera.Harley Renegade
Incomplete software & app
Desktop software doesn't work at all since update. Neither does iPhone app. It won't connect to play over wifi despite my phone pairing with the BlackVue wifi. Camera itself is not working consistently either. It stopped recording approximately 2 days ago for no reason---missed critical video of an assault we drove past tonight. Police needed more details, but we had no video to review.
Despite updating timezone on the app before it quit working, it still is not accurate on recordings. The desktop software only gives a few timezones to choose from--none are in the US.
GPS is far off too. Occasionally it puts me in the correct US state, but often it shows me in Canada! It has never shown my actually driving locations. Date is 2 days off. I have swapped out memory cards with no improvement. Now it's recording in a format I can't even open in Quicktime. Before I could at least open the files in Quicktime when the BlackVue viewer software wasn't functioning for playback.
