Works well, beats the supplied unit for sensitivity & doesn't need to be pointed directly at the unit. Nice.

Replicates remote only
I was hoping to get the keyboard function from this app, similar to the Apple tv app, but it only replicated the device's remote on its two pages. The app did find the 103 player on the network automatically.
Luckily had a USB keyboard handy, plugged that in, and now was able to have a real keyboard! Still wish Oppo would add the keyboard function in the next app version.

Works fine with my BDP-103. An easy to use and very helpful app. Bravo!
Unreliable connection with 93
Cannot find my 93. On the same network, latest firmware. Should give am option to specify an IP... Sometime it works, but most of the time not.
A missed oppo-tunity
I waited patiently for some time for an official Oppo app to use with my BDP-83. Thanks for nothing. The Samsung Smart View app I use for my TV works with my Oppo through HDMI-CEC and can even power up the player. I guess It will have to do.

Love Oppo products but as previous reviewer says, Oppo has to be switched on before you can use app.
App a bit pointless as you might as well continue using your remote control.

Awesome OPPO Remote App!
The OPPO Remote app is beautifully designed and a joy to use! Its two screens (one featuring the essential playback controls, the other an exact replica of the physical remote) are elegant and perform exactly as expected. The only feature missing from the app is fast app switching. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

At last...
At long last the genuine Oppo Remote app for iOS...after many months of waiting thank you Oppo.
But...and there's always a but...why oh why does the player have to be turned on before the app can see it?
Why not release a firmware upgrade to keep the network alive when the player is in standby mode?
Seems ridiculous that you have to keep the original remote to hand just to use a single button to turn the player on before you can use the app. Sort of defeats the object really IMHO
And please rename the app with a shorter name or something that begins with Oppo as on an iPhone the app looks like it is called Remot...ntrol which is meaningless.
