  • StarHub TV+ app has limitations

    Overall the experience is below average. StarHub seems to have very clumsy technology which leads to bad user experience. Unfortunately, since I use it primarily to watch football, EPL, Euro 2024 etc. I have no choice since they are the main broadcaster in SG (Singtel does a cross carriage with StarHub but it still has issue 2 below).

    My main issues:-

    1. StarHub TV+ cannot be downloaded and viewed on Apple TV unlike Singtel Cast/Me Watch etc

    2. It cannot be viewed while overseas even with a VPN set to Singapore. This is incredibly frustrating especially when you want to catch the EPL while overseas. Contrast this with the Peacock App (NBC) where you can watch EPL matches anywhere in the world by using a US VPN - so licensing should not be the issue.

    3. The user interface is badly laid out and designed.

    4. The current coverage of Euro 2024 is patchy and sometimes intermittent.

  • Terrible app

    Feels like a HTML based app. Horrible UI. Why can’t I airplay to my Apple TV and more importantly why don’t you have an Apple TV app?
  • How can this be so bad?

    The app constantly gives errors while trying. To stream. Reloading sometimes fixes the problem momentarily. Time to get serious Starhub
  • Cannot AirPlay to Apple TV

    Can Starhub look at AirPlay to Apple TV or put this app onto Apple TV?
  • From bad to worst!!

    The interface design is a total disaster! The original app was mediocre, can make do, this new interface is so poorly designed, it’s ridiculous! It’s so bad that I decided to write this review! I hope you will put back the old app!
    Makes me so angry every time I run the app! It’s made the entire experience from bad to worst!!! If you are following a drama, you can barely tell what episode you have selected! It’s not even easy and consistent when trying to locate the drama, even one that I’ve been following!
    Tech is bad too - to log in almost each time (every night) I run the app! ?? Seriously???
    Dear Starhub! What in the world are you thinking! Wasted all the time (and probably $$) to revamp - you should have just kept the original (wasn’t great, but it was miles better than this!)

  • multiple bounce at login - useless App!

    Every time I want to use the App I’m required to log in again and despite entering multiple times my credentials correctly I can’t access my account...
    As I’m writing this review it’s been 20min I’m trying to login to watch a daily live program which I obviously missed!
    I’m not even going to comment on the UX aspects as I’d need another 20min to write all I think about the App.
    Has any of the developers ever used any streaming App like Netflix?
    This App is a deal breaker conditioning my next contract renewal with StarHub!

  • Black screen

    After the change of name... I am only watching a black screen with sound. Why change when your side can’t support?

  • Does Not Work with iPad Pro 11”

    When you select a channel to view the app crashes. So unusable.

    Works fine on my iPad 9.7” though.

  • My app won’t play

    What happened today? My app won’t stream any of my channels. Please let me know what is going on. Very frustrating!
  • Worst Streaming App I have Used

    For the past year I am using this app, it has never improved. Always had this “dejavu” issue where it repeats around 10 seconds of a previous scene, a lot of times. It has never been fixed. Moreover, it stops just when the scene is the best, most of the time.
