Really clever educational app, brilliant clearly spoken English audio and stunning artwork. This is the fourth Unit 11 app I have purchased and I have not been disappointed yet!

very impressed, both of my children (4 and 6) loved this, and my 4 year old has now learnt all of her phonics in a matter of a few days.

Great app
We really like this series, our 3 year old boy is really making good headway with it and is capable of sounding out three and four letter words after only a couple of weeks.
Love it
This is great for my 2 kids. It brings them thru various stages in a fun and logical path. It has helped my 7 y/o son and he is now on 3. My 5 y/o daughter is now using it.

This app has great potential. As a primary school teacher, I am pleased to see the order the sounds are introduced. My 4 year old son loves the games & it has supported his learning. The biggest problem is that it goes through the sounds too quickly. When he completed an island, he was really excited about getting a prize. Downside: the treasure had been stolen and he had to go onto the next island. He was not really ready for the next set of sounds but wanted to move on as there was no reward until you finish all the islands. Children do not learn this quickly and he has become quite disheartened. It needs a better celebration at the end of each island so that children repeat it & consolidate the sounds.

Liked the idea of pirates but it was very slow moving and too easy even for beginners.
