So i had just purchased my kia sx turbo in September and was trying to activate my uvo app which is pre owned. I followed all the instructions on my phone once I created my account but when i got to the PIN STAGE in the car zone section no pin was provided for me and i also followed all necessary steps that was provided to me by the kia connect representative on how to obtain the previous owner PIN to remove it and create my own still wasnt any help so I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and still the same thing once i connected my phone via usb it goes directly to the setup screen to agree to the terms and conditions then after that ……boom nothing happens still stuck this app is Useless

  • Disappointed

This app is such a disappointment! I have a 2018 Kia Sorento & this morning when I started my car it said engine problem so I plugged up my phone to open my app & it won’t download ANYTHING not the problem or even my mileage! Says nothing can be downloaded & I know it’s not my cord. I even tried deleting the app & reinstalling it & nothing!

Nearly useless. Went to a bit of trouble to have “Engine Control System” alert download to have the message to call my dealer. The dealer asked what the problem is and I had to respond Engine Control System which they said would be $50 for a diagnostic. Had to use my old iPhone to download app so I could connect with USB as new iPhone uses USB C and can’t connect to 2018 car but could if Bluetooth would connect. Phone has no problem with Bluetooth phone calls but why would app designers not utilize this technology.
