  • Both fun and beautiful

Wide sky is one of my favorite iPhone games for many reasons. Don't listen to the people who say that the game mechanics are impossible and frustrating. They are hard but once you get used to them it is a very fun and addicting game. Most of these people just don't give it a chance or are physically handicap.

  • Okay

It's quite cute and a beautiful game. Can be very frustrating though. Would be better if your rope flew out in the direction of your touch rather than wherever 'up' (the top of your hedgehog) happened to be.
  • Makes NO SENSE. Pointless

Here's a tip: ADD LABELS TO YOUR BUTTONS!

Honestly one of the worst games I've played. Beautiful graphics and sound design, no doubt. But the gameplay is severely lacking and is no fun whatsoever. There's also just too much stuff going on screen for the tutorials to be helpful.

As a developer myself, I'll say that you've got the technical challenges down: the game runs smoothly and clearly it plays like you've designed. But now is the hard part ie getting your game to actually be fun. Thank goodness I didn't pay for this.

  • Nice App

This is a nice app, and helps me relax. I didn't pay for this app, because it was the app of the week. It is kind if frustrating when you get it at first, but it will keep your mind off of things. So, I recommend this app to people who want to just relax or play a game. I give it 5 stars, and please don't listen to the negative people. Listen to some, but not all, because they could just be complaining about not getting it while some other people are. Please try this out while it is the App Of The Week. :)

  • I want to like it!

I really do! The graphics are great, along with the concept and music. It's just so hard to get a hang of maneuvering the hedgehog! Even when you get that under our belt, you have to collect things within a very short amount of time all this within another span of time in which the game ends. I can see the potential, but it will leave you frustrated!

  • Very clever and entertaining

After playing, and reading most of the reviews – I'd say that the only "oversight" is that this game isn't dumbed down for the masses. I'm kidding. This is a really well thought through game. Gameplay and controls are perfectly logical if you use your head – it does require a dash of intellect (and willingness to apply it). If you're looking to not think or consider new gameplay logic, best pass and not leave a low rating. It's not the game's fault ;)

  • Great design and graphics

In my opinion tilt control is so much easier than touch (which is definitely a bad idea for beginners). For those who gave 1 star because they thought they were being insulted... I don't really think that's the purpose of the guide. It's supposed to be funny, just relax and have fun. Many of the things are written in a humorous way, but please don't write a bad review because you didn't get it. The game is actually fun, and the only thing I would suggest is making shorter games: quick game for 1 orb, 3 orbs, 5 orbs and of course keep the traditional 7 orbs.

  • Lovely design, difficult gameplay

This game has gorgeous graphics, great physics and the text is really funny, but I found the gameplay itself frustrating and couldn't get past the tutorial.
  • A work of art

Wide sky is a gorgeous game. Each frame is like a painting and the animations are great. Even the menus are more beautiful and were designed with more love than many games you'll find in the App Store. I'm not a huge fan of the gameplay yet but the design alone is easily worth 5 stars.
