Hi TimJulien, there turned out to be an issue with NRQL charts in incident violations, if this was the problem you were seeing, then there shouldn't be any broken charts now. If there still are, can you let us know, thanks!

No data

No APM or services showing up, web works fine.

Hi RJ858, check out version 3.73.0, where we now have enhanced OpenTelemetry service support... If you are still unable to see any APM or service data, please contact us in the in-app feedback so we can figure out why.

App Improving but reliability a concern

New Relic has an impressive array of information it can provide on your platform - and it’s supposed to be “reAssuringly expensive” - and as such is a significant chunk of our infrastructure costs - so it’s disappointing that dashboards on the wider platform are often unavailable, or blank. This is something reported by many users and I hope they can turn the corner on this, as it undoes what should be a great tool.

I’m glad they’ve been updating this app to let you access more (although it’s not quite as sexy as the older insights app). Recently this app was updated to finally show complex widgets like desktop (as a paying customer - thanks) but this work is unfortunately undone by carrying over the long-standing desktop bug that mixes up data colours so things are mislabelled and wrong - so I still can’t use this app in the boardroom (the same for desktop).

I encourage the team to double down on things like above - I want to love the platform and get real value from it (as I’m constantly aware that it’s expensive ). There should be no bugs when displaying data - labels should be correct and data trends should reliably move the correct direction (often thrown by this too)

Bad navigation

The navigation in this app is wrong and makes me do the wrong thing every time. Tab bars are supposed to be the top level element, you don’t back out of them. Please read the platform guidelines and fix.

Okay but needs work

Edited: App alerts are broken if you have a v2 account. This makes the app far less useful . Ugh.

Incredible app. Ignore the poor reviews, great functionality and very snappy.

Very well laid out, great UI/UX, matches a similar feel to NewRelic in a web browser. Will be really helpful for my team to monitor our servers performance throughout the day. Nice to have the ApDex score sitting next to me while I work.

Would be really cool to have an ApDex widget for iOS14! Also, maybe a widget view of my favourite synthetics monitors. Would be incredibly powerful for glance views.

A good quick look

This provides a good quick look at your metrics, but could use some polish. For instance if I select a version to see my crashes I’d like the crash rate to reflect that. Instead the rate stays at the same level.

Also, please fix the Face ID login. It will automatically login even if my face can’t be detected. I even tried covering the camera. Provides a false sense of security.

Hi Cruddell001, thanks for the feedback! The Face ID login would only be used if you were logged out and tapped the Face ID button. This sounds like it's just doing the normal downloading of your data with the current logged in status. I'll add a feature request to make this initial state less confusing, so it doesn't appear like it's using Face ID.
