Nice Break From the "Norm"
Very interesting game.
Without giving anything away, my only advice would be don't give up! Take notes and try all possible touch/gesture/device interactions/manipulations. Also, get the companion app. You will "need" it to fully complete the game.
It doesn't take long to finish, so the price could be high for some people; however, it is a very satisfying, beautiful game that is genuinely disturbing at times. It stands out from the crowd and that makes it worth it to me.Show lessextricated
Haunting
Loved the companion!! It made the game even more interesting and helped solve the puzzles that were too hard. I loved the fact that the game was just the game, with no menu, options or settings and that the book came separate. So clean, so beautifulsammillergirl
Beautiful but humourless
A little "dark humour" on top of all the melodramatic dark stuff would have made the game feel a bit more mature.
It's great that Simogo is trying it's hand at something less cutesy. However, I wish they'd take themselves less seriously it drains all the cleverness out of the experience.Zitteraalnduennebier
Don't download new update
I really enjoyed this game. Some of the puzzles were a little bit too complicated, but the game is gorgeous.
My complaint is the newest update would not download. I started it at 8pm, and I just now had to delete it off my iPod because it still wasn't downloading. I would be wary about doing the update!Show lessSkyrimir
Amazing
The companion really makes the game, use this before the game to learn of the mythology you will encounter, then come back after you beat the "Year Walk" app.
All in all though, I've never been more excited about a game after I've played through it than this one.

Elegantly executed.
Yearwalk, and this companion app, both shocked me with their depth and subtlety. This app adds so many additional layers to the story, turning it from an abstract puzzle tour, to a folklore parable, to a nicely handled creepypasta.
This is why the App Store is awesome. Smart artists making emotional art that respects its audience.

BEST GAME EVER!
By far the best game I have ever played. It's so complex and intricate. You have to think creatively to complete it. If you get lost in a part of the game, go exploring because the answer is probably hidden somewhere else in the game. It has the best storyline as well. Terrifying and Excellent
Beating the game will unlock additional content with the companion app. I got shivers reading through the supplemental material and had a deep sense of dread when going back to the main game for the true ending. There is nothing on the App Store quite like this.hotzp
