Need weekend weather updates
I just wish on the weekends you had a 12 pm and 6pm plus the regular 10pm. And the weather doesn’t update. Only uses the 6am weather. I thought you could check the weather any time. You can’t!!!

The update ruined everything
Ever since the new update the app is absolutely trash. I always rely on the 5 news app for weather and since the update, it always says my location is in Fayetteville even after numerous times I’ve set my location to Fort Smith and have my location setting on. Half the time the radar and weather even load. I have to constantly open and close it for it to be set to Fort Smith and for it to even load.

Morgan W. Is wonderful as an anchor. Lauren is outstanding on the morning news also with Jo. Noah talks so fast half of us can’t understand anything he says. Danny is good and talks where you can understand him. So that’s all I’m saying today.

Since they updated the app it’s TERRIBLE!!! The radar never works!!!!!
New app HORRIBLE
I am actually writing this before I delete the app due to its horrendous layout for the news and lack of both functionality and accuracy on the weather. I have always relied on KFSM and the actual meteorologists are still great for live coverage , but the app is absolutely worthless since the latest update. It has to be closed and reopened numerous times to get the weather to load then the radar does not load accurately when you finally do get it to open. The layout of the news headlines is a chaotic mess. The whole thing needs to be scrapped and put back to the old version.

New update is awful and so user unfriendly
Please go back to the original one! The all white is awful. Stories are harder to find. Anytime I want to check the actual weather I have to restart the app because nothing loads!

I loved the old version of the app. It was smooth, looked good, and always worked. This new update is atrocious. The color scheme is terrible, and you have to close out the app completely every time you try to use it because it gets hung up on something and nothing loads.

Go back to the old app which was usable until new app is at least 25% functional.
Great App. Terrible Background
This is a great app and very easy to use. However, after the new design update, everything is a bright, ungodly white color. My device is set to dark mode and every time I open the app, it is like being blasted in the face by the sun. There is no option to change the mode in the app. If this could be implemented, it would be an instant 5 stars from me.

New update is atrocious & the weather/radar are practically unusable.
New update AWFUL
I generally use this app for the weather and I absolutely hate what the new update brought for that particular section within the app. Right now it’s raining and cooler. 5News says nothing is going on and it’s 80° while Accuweather says it’s 65°, which is more accurate. Navigating is not near as simple as before. Probably get rid of this app and find another local news for weather.

The newest update is horrible! You can’t watch previously aired news. You added video shorts wtf. I want the news not shorts. This is exactly why I installed 40/29 news app. I’m about to just uninstall the app because it doesn’t allow me to watch newscast so then a repeat of the last one that’s live.

If you like inaccurate weather reports and sensationalized news reports, this is the app for you.
If you like real news meant to inform and not evoke high emotions, I would look elsewhere.
