I use it all the time for field recording.
It works great with voiceover, and has many awesome features.
The one thing I wish they would fix is voiceover speech is routed through the ear peace rather than the speaker. Not a deal breaker for all the features it offers makes up for it.Show lessDarren Duff

Unable to use dictate
With the latest update, I am unable to use dictate to answer texts when labeling tags. I use voice over. I don't know if that is causing the problem or not.Gordy-Kay

No manual input gain control for iPhone 6s Plus
I bought this on recommendation from a friend. For live, full band reference recordings, input gain must be set to the lowest level to avoid distortion. But the 6s mic does not support manual input gain. This should be listed in the description here as an issue. Is there a workaround? I will test to see if Apple built a compression or automatic input gain into the chips, but kind of bummed I bought it and found this out afterwards.Show lessBrianbigcountry

Thanks for adding the "always on" function as requested. You have excelled yourselves in this. It has made the app absolutely perfect.

This is the best recording app I have used. I have bought others in the hope that they function as I need, but this is the only one that fulfils my requirements. I would not hesitate in recommending this to others needing a first class recording app.
What would make this app even better would be an "always on" function. By that I mean the app stays on (I.e. the device does not off the screen while recording). I realise that the iPhone, iPod, iPad can be set not to turn off, but I often forget to do this before commencing. Other recording apps have this inbuilt function, so maybe the creators of this one can implement it in the next update.
