  • Great resource!

I love the podcast and listening to the wisdom John Piper articulates. I do have an issue that the text I type in the app’s search box is invisible so I can’t see what I’ve typed (2016 iPhone SE). Also I like how it auto plays the next episode, though I can’t bookmark an episode or have the app remember the episode I’m on.

  • Such a good resource

This app is a wonderful resource for biblical truth. I love the question and answer format and to just be able to get a snippet of biblical truth to help answer some of those tough questions is just so helpful. Thank you for this app!

I think a couple of things could improve it. To have the ability to “favorite” or save certain episodes. Also, whenever I press pause on one I am listening too, if my phone goes to sleep the app closes and I lose my place.

Again, I love this resource so much and have pointed so many to this. I just can’t thank you enough for serving people in this way!

  • Love the Content

This app is great, and the content is even better! Piper will challenge your view of God and scripture in profound ways. I love to listen to Piper because even if I don't agree on everything, I KNOW that Piper has a well thought out, Biblical stance on everything. I love the man! And I love Jesus more through him!

  • Content is 5 stars!

Such a source of fulfilling wisdom. Missing a star for the same reason as many others: I would like to see what I’ve heard and haven’t heard. Additionally, it would be nice to favorite items as I often like to go back for a friend or for myself, yet I have trouble finding the right episode. Despite saying those minor constructive criticisms, I love this app — thank you for this blessing and God bless.

  • Glitching

This app keeps closing out on me when I try to type something in the search bar. That’s really annoying and it seems as tho it takes a while for an episode to play, like it’s buffering for a million years. I don’t know what is happening, but it’s not good. These glitches are making me not want to use the app anymore, which is sad because I do enjoy the content.

  • Good content and resources but app has bugs

iOS app doesn't remember where you last listened-- would be a tremendous benefit if it had this feature where it kept track of where you last left off and which episodes you've already listened to like any postcast app. App also crashes when searching by topic. The major advantage this has over podcasting apps is that it goes all the way back to the beginning, so you are able to access much older episodes, which other apps do not support.

  • Outstanding!!

This app is an outstanding resource for anyone who wants to get to know God on a more intimate level. It is also spectacular for the skeptic that has sincere theological questions that need good answers.
  • Add Favortie Episodes

The ask pastor John series is amazing. The only thing I'd like to add is a favorite button so that I can have all of my favorite episodes saved for me. Thanks for a great app nonetheless!
  • Tremendous Resource

This app is a tremendous resource when trying to find biblical guidance to modern day issues. Only thing I would like to suggest is the ability to download podcasts to a phone for offline use. I oftentimes am out of the country and without WiFi, and it would be great to save some podcasts to my phone. God Bless!

  • Great series, good app

John Piper gives some very helpful, thoughtful, and biblically sound answers to some tough and important questions.
It is also great when “moralistic” questions come back with an answer that doesn’t just explain what you should or shouldn’t do, but points you to God, and leaves you more satisfied in him than in having the question answered.
The app is a bit strange in some ways though. Unlike Solid Joys (which I heartily recommend!), it gives the audio without transcript, while the other gives text with no audio.
In either app both are available through the Share link, but why not include it in the app!
    🙂
