I like it with a caveat
I like this app, the interface is easy to understand, transactions and categories are easy to enter, and it's easy to see at a glance where you are for the month.
Two things needed to make this a five star app for me. First, There is no way to ask a question or any contact information within the app itself. Second, there is no way to add a one time increase to a single category for a single month. Additional income will increase the overall budget, but there's no way to assign that single overage to a category, it just stays in the overall bucket.

I'll be honest with you the suffers OK but I feel it could be really improved upon and we sticking with it is because I've already have almost a year and a half and date already uploaded but if I could've found a better route to go I would've went with that because your instructions on how to do things are very vague for me so hopefully I in the future it'll be improved to to get into more to get into more detail of what I need to do thank you have a good one

Love this App
I have been using this app now for 3 years it is great could not keep on track without it. I would give it 5 stars if they could extend it to 5 years instead of 1 year max. It would be great then. Keep up the excellent work.
Brilliant budget app
This app is great - perfect for me to record all our family expenses and stay within our budget. When I pay for something I just pop on to the app and add the expense to the correct category and I can instantly see what budget I have remaining. Perfect.
My only request for a future update is to allow me to set my year view to something other than the calendar year. I'd like to view my yearly budget in the financial year beginning in April. Thanks!

Great app
This is a great and easy to use household budgeting app which I have been using for over a year. Small glitch a couple of weeks ago which Mark fixed with a patch straight away. Thanks Mark!
A Good Budget Planner and Tracker...
This App runs in a similar way to the Spending Tracker App, by the same Company...so data entries, graphs and info are very similar..
It is not complicated and is easy to use if you are wanting to track variable budgets say monthly, fixed regular budgets can also be tracked and the repeat function and backup are available when upgrading to the Pro version...an in App purchase. The carry forward function is really good.
The App works for me, I like it.

Misses the mark
It seems like the good folks at the App Store are no longer checking basic functionality, before releasing an app for download.
This app does not work. When you enter a budget amount, the app changes that number, seemingly at random, to a different number. Then it subtracts all the expenses against that wrong number. As a user there is no way to control what you want your budget amounts to be.
The focus of this app seems to be giving the user the choice of icons for each line item, and which colour it will show up as on a bar graph. Whoever programmed this has only the sketchiest notion of what the app should do. As such, it completely misses the mark.

Seems very clear
Just started using it and it seems very good. Will try sync with husbands iPhone and see how it works. I like that you can have more than one account so you can budget for large things as well as weekly outgoings.
