  • Ease of use

So Far so good this is a simple program to use. It is streamline and serves its purpose. One issue I find in a lot of apps is that they include a lot of extra functions that are not needed. Just give us simple minimum step app to help. This does that.
  • The best. Hands down.

If you are looking for a good, polished, project management app for your iPad and Mac, this is it. The author puts quite a bit of effort into these apps and it really shows. I didn't realize how much I would actually end up using these, but they are my go-to for light project management tools. I wish I could give it 10 stars.

  • Very good software on my IPad; don’t need to go to my computer.

Very good app to quickly plan out your project.
  • Very useful planning tool. Excellent software

Looking for a userfriendly and easy to handle tool, I found Quick Plan. After working with for my first construction project I can conclude, that this is an excellent tool to plan and control a project.
Handling it on an iPad is maybe the best adoption of a program from a desktop to tablet. It is very intuitive and fits to my needs. Printout via PDF is also very practice oriented. Integration with contacts is also a very good idea.
I am using the iPhone App as well and also the Mac version. So thanks to iCloud integration it can be handled with all three devices. Sharing with collaborators works fine too, respecting the caveats not using the project at the same time.
Reaction of the software people is amazing fast and competent. And they are open for any suggestion which makes sense to them.
I tested and worked with planning software for a long time, this is probably the best concept of user friendliness and ease of usage I ever used.
Sorry if this sounds too positive. But it has to be said.
I recommended it to several of my friends and the architects who were always reluctant to such a tool, are very interested and starting to get into too.

  • Really good, but need more flexibility in dealing with time

I really liked my first few minutes with the app, but I had to abandon it really quickly. As far as I can tell it will not support a task’s work time of less than 1 day. I deal with projects that have lots of moving functions and they are managed and billed by the hour. Some projects are less than a day long so you just end up with a task list.

I know there are good reasons to stick to one day timeframes, but business needs don’t always allow that. It would be ideal if I could enter minutes. I could manage if I were limited to hours. Requiring days, wont work for me.

It is not fo me, but if you deal in longer timeframe projects, than this could be a really great app.

Thank you for the comments. We have a FREE app for the short term schedule, at https://agenda.mbl.app, and we have another app you can customize the timeline as you want, at https://roadmapgo.com it’s up to your domain focus.
  • Impressive

Very easy to work with and can be almost fun with an Apple Pencil!
  • Can’t do with out it

I am a quality manager. I use this amazing app everyday. Only way to effectively manage multitasking. Thanks for the app.
  • Minimum task duration 1 day

I like a lot of the features of QuickPlan and the developer’s other apps, but QuickPlan only handles task durations of one day or more. I found ways to force more than one task in a day, but that made the app much more work than it should be. To be useful at all to me, it must be able to schedule subtasks within a day—it is impossible to sum up a day’s work as one task. The developer’s suggestion of using iAgenda for more granularity again makes the app more work than it should be, thus useless for serious project management.

I will come back to this suite if the developer will add the capability for breaking a day down into subtasks. Until then, I have a expensive apps I cannot use for anything.

We got your feature request to this app you think "it's a GREAT app" via our support website, and now we got this comment from you. Thanks! However, our understanding is that what the app you are looking for is a calendar app with a Gantt view. QuickPlan is not a calendar app; QuickPlan is the app for the project schedule. - We created a FREE app for the short-term activity schedule with a similar user interface. - And there is another app (https://roadmapgo.com) which may be suitable for your needs, see a schedule example at https://roadmapgo.com/img/documents/examples/wwdc2018.jpg, please. - Our design principle is to deliver the best app with the best practices - to help the user do rightly than just providing functionalities. https://goplan.app/documents/best-practices/task-duration BTW, QuickPlan's price is super low - about 1/3 to 1/10 of any of the same kind (I mean the app with at/above the acceptable level of quality)
  • LOVE THE APP

This application is very easy to use and learn. It works well for those that may have not have a background in project management. My only suggestion is to have the app be compatible on windows. I work with others that utilize windows and it would be nice for them to utilize for the group.
  • Yes!

Finally, an amazing project management app at a reasonable price.
So many PM apps out there cost a ridiculous amount or offer limited functionality until you pay some high monthly subscription.
Forget that nonsense. This is the app you have been looking for.
And I’m sure it will only get better as it appears to be regularly updated.
