Not so great
I was using A2Z for about a year. In the beginning it was great. But with each iOS update it became much slower. It performed with a “hangover.” I reached out to the developer and they resolved the issue (a few days later) with their own update. Back in business. However, when Apple sent out an iOS 11 update that’s when A2Z took a 💩on me!!!
Every group I had created was either emptied or severely compromised making them virtually useless. After contacting A2Z again all they said was... yup sorry we know, it won’t happen again. You’re so right A2Z... I have DELETED the app. Bye-Bye!!

Best of the independent contact apps!
I had been looking for a contact app that did several things. Including:
– sync to Google groups
– have pictures next to contacts (I like to create a group for each kind of meeting I go to, and review them before hand)
– Not duplicate my contacts every time it syncs
– Not have annual fees
Now, I’ve tried a few different ones, and I realized that I needed to compromise in order to get the results I wanted. So for example, I was trying to sync contacts from Google contacts, office 365, and the iPhone. This was causing just too many problems. I realized it would be much easier to manage contacts mainly through one service, and I chose Google contacts. Once I did that, I found that this app did the best job, along with Synctastic, it’s sister app, at keeping things in sync. And Google contacts itself does the job of merging duplicates.
Now, this seems to be a one person operation, which does have its drawbacks. Who knows how long it will be supported. And there are bugs. But that one person is very dedicated, and responds to your inquiries, and tries to fix things. So you’ll have to judge if dealing with a few bugs is worth the benefit of having an app that does what you need it to do.

A2Z Contacts
I have Apple iPad and have a lot of contacts that are grouped. The email software that comes with this iPad does not lend itself to sending email to contact groups. This A2ZContact software accomplishes that, but not necessarily in a seamless fashion. The manual or instructions for using this software is somewhat sparse, but is better than no instructions.
It does what it claims it can do and one can not therefore beat up the software author in that arena. I am pleased also with the privacy terms and conditions especially and therefore I would give it an excellent review just on that note. Would you want third-party people capturing your contact names and related information? I certainly don't.

Needs drag and drop function between groups
Ok, could have a better looking interface and needs a drag and drop interface between groups.
Useful app for messaging groups
Very handy, and the UI seems to be getting better.
Google dependent iPhone user very happy!
This gets all my contact info to my Google contacts. Bonus, it allowed me to easily organize groups for texting. Google just allowed to select contact. If contact had 3 numbers it would text all 3 numbers, what a mess. If you not on Pro plan, you are limited to a small number in each group , which works for me.

Superb app
I've been using A2Z for some months. I love it! Simple to use, auto syncs with my Google contacts & works seamlessly on iPhone & iPad. Brilliant thanks!
