Some good alpha build ideas in there
…but this software is at best a BETA version.
Keeps crashing
When I press the option to add time some work orders will not allow this and the app stops and crashes. I end up having to close the work order with no time added in. I attempted to use the App Support but I need the login credentials. Does that mean you would rather have a bad review in order to get the issue resolved?

December 2020 update is junk
Never had an issue until the app updates in December 2020. Now it won’t load on IPad and I cannot sync on my IPhone. I also do not like how the time and date input changed takes longer to close tickets out. Really like it before not so much now
Mediocre
It does the job, sort of. Not like I have a choice this is the system my employer chose. We had it for about 6 years now. The desktop version isn’t too bad. The app is cluttered, clunky and seems to have been designed without concern for the technician but maybe more for the database people & management. It could be better, though I suppose it could be worse also.

Really needs more development.
I use this in a hospital environment. While our dashboards are built to our needs by onsite staff on the PC side of things, the sidekick app is pressingly difficult to work with day to day. Screen space utilization is poor, and being unable to view different types of work requests in tabs like on PC. With the sheer amount of requests I deal with normally, ‘My Work Requests’ being all that’s available makes quite a mess for me. Filtering and sorting is quite clunky, and not being able to query for requests by assigned user (only time charges) really makes this a non-solution for being on the go.

Could Improve
I was waiting to write this review until the latest update came out to see if any major changes happened, but unfortunately there aren’t so many. I was really hoping that the asset or work order query results would be stretched to the full width of the screen instead of just a small part of the right hand side of the screen. I am about to roll out this app to my technicians and was trying to decide on a mobile device (IPhone or IPad) because the information isn’t very large and is squeezed into such a tiny space. Disappointing. Other than cleaning up the menu tab and a fancy new app icon, there isn’t much improvement that I have seen yet. Perhaps a bit more exploring will prove otherwise. The app is good, but not as user friendly as I’d like to see. Some of my old timers will be a bit confused with the new fangled technology as they are with the desk top version. Overall the app is pretty decent. Not great, but good.

TMS Review
Very good app. Good to keep track of hours worked. The only downside to this app is not having a auto sync option. It would be ideal if the app could auto sync as long as it is open in the background.
Could be better
Please add push notifications to alert when a new work order has been issued to the techs
Ipad Optimization
I used the program on the iphone and was exicted about using it on an ipad hoping to use the extra screen real estate to look at my work order list . The app does not use the whole screen when displaying results which is a bummer. Also I wish there was a way to maybe do a quick sync. Only pull new work orders and/or update the system when i close a work order have the ability to sync just one work order. I believe that within the year, TMS sidekick will be a better choice then TMS anywhere. Its almost there but have the live interaction with the database is something of an advanatge for TMS anywhere. I cant wait to see the next upgrade. Keep working on it.

Great app!
The application is great! It allows my company to work while off wifi and sync when the day is over. Greatest app ever!! Highly recommend
