I used to play a lot of these games but got sick of glitchy and/or overpriced ones, so stopped. Saw the sale and good, detailed reviews and tried this one. Now I remember how much fun these games can be. You are able to move through the game smoothly, logically, without hints, i.e. not too easy, not impossible. Even the HO scenes are interesting and with a new twist. Just really, really good. Even the bonus play was really good (as opposed to just a throw together piece of junk). But as good as this was, and I honestly don't think I've ever enjoyed one more, $7.00 US is just too much for a one time game. If BF put out more games of this quality (dev was Mariaglorum), I'd buy them more often, but only on sale, they're pretty greedy at $5.00 considering they're just profiting off of other people's work (for the most part)
The game is interesting. The graphics are wonderful the price is okay but... . The problem is the game is so short that I have played it 3 times w/o completing any other if my comparable games. Ergo it's fun but so quick it's truly not worth the $$. There are so many more games with more meat on their bones for the same price, so if u want a delightful, brief jaunt into fantasy land, this is it. If u want more bang for the buck there are sooo many more games that can & do offer cool graphics, great story lines & a lot more puzzling challenge for the money, this is not the game for u.
One of the best games in a long time! Rapid movement map, hint button, superior graphics, excellent voice-overs, stirring plot, labeled inventory items, clear HO's with a nice twist. What more could you want? I know some have complained that the puzzles were too easy, but at least you don't spend all day trying to figure them out, and resort to skipping them. Buy this game, it is a Superior game, and totally worth it. Let's have MORE soon!
Agree with all the posts, excellent story line, cut scenes, etc. If this is your first or second hidden object, I highly recommend and add a star, you won't be disappointed, this is an outstanding introduction to this genera.
If you are like me and searching for a challenge, you won't find it here. This game is straight forward and linear. The bonus content is much more challenging than the main game. I played on the hardest level and rarely found myself wondering what to do next.
That being said, it is so well done that if you are looking for a game to kill some time, this is a joy to behold and play.
This was a true winner from Big Fish. The graphics are beautiful and rich. The story line is very interesting, and the game is very long including the bonus game. It isn't too hard, and it isn't too easy. It is just right. I wish all games were like the quality of this game. The last game I played of this calibur was the Nut Cracker (I can't remember the exact name, but it has that in the title). That was a year or so ago. I realize not every game can be this good, but they should all be similar to this quality.
The game has a lot of puzzles, which are not super hard, but fun, and it has 2 types of HO. One is the traditional, and the other you have to match the outline of the shapes and as you find one piece, you use that piece to get another. There wasn't a lot of running back and forth like in some games. It has creatures that you rescue, and you really want to rescue them, because they are the babies of the creatures in question. There is a very bad guy that you have to defeat in order to stop him from bringing the really bad guy back to life. Everything is in HD. The only problem I had was that some of the cut scenes played poorly. There was something wrong with the frame rate; at least on my iPad 3.
I highly recommend this game. I don't write reivews very often, but this game warranted it. Keep these coming, and I can't wait to play the next one in this series.
I never cared much for hidden object games, and would install them, play them until the unlock feature came up, and then delete them. Then, voila! - everything changed with League of Light.
The game is thoroughly intriguing, entertaining, and a great challenge. It never gets boring, and the graphics are really outstanding. For my money, it is worth every penny. Can't wait to see what the sequel is going to be like.

This game was one I could not WAIT to play based on their comments and they were absolutely correct! I loved this game so much I was sad when it ended. Another Great Game good voice overs several different types of HOS good strategy guide, map and hints. Inventory items labeled, hidden things to find only on chapter 3 but love it so far will update later I think this is one of the best games ever no problems at all will play this again so glad I did buy it Thank You BF and everyone who worked on it can't wait for the next one
The sequel can't come out fast enough! Well done, BigFish! All the elements of an amazing game. Very lengthy, with a long bonus chapter as well! OMG, that chapter was gorgeous! Great graphics, fantastic zoom capability, strategy guide, hint system that didn't ruin it by telling you what to do, a journal. Also navigational aids, as well as a great teleport map with marked objectives. Believe me, there is so much to do you need that map! The inventory was labeled too! You are really starting to spoil us and we love you for that reason!
The HO scenes were great, not just lists but you also had to find one object to get to another, and so on and so forth! Also there were puzzles built into some of the HO scenes! There were so many mini-games and puzzles that you could never be bored!
The game had a smooth flow. There was no loading time between scenes! That is so obnoxious when you have to wait for every scene to load!
The only downside was that there were some tiny glitches; however you can play through. The game doesn't crash or kick you out. I could have taken off a star but I didn't because you get an extra star for giving us this great game with the added bonus of NO RATS!!!
This game was a great price and worth every penny. I am going to use some of the wallpaper because it was exquisite! Please, more like this, maybe two per week?
BTW, this should put me in the top 10 reviews with Snooper! He/she reviews the way I do!
Thank you B F for being so prompt with another winning game. Has Great voice overs interesting HOPs and a map. A big scary flying monster is abducting young girls and flying off to the Dark Lords castle with them. Look for more owls and also scrolls to collect in this one.
