Yahoo weather app
Was great until recently. When i tap the icon now it wont load up then after about 30 seconds just goes back to home screen. On the occasions that it does load up, it then freezes. So i did a software update then uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but still no joy. What is going on with it, would someone PLEASE explain how this can be fixed once and for all, because i really like this app! 🤗

Accurate and Fun
I love this app. It shows so many things in interesting ways. I especially like the way the water slops round in the teardrop if you move the iPad or iPhone around. Not only that but is invariably is correct. Jeni

I’ve used this app for quite a few years now, and I find that is is usually 100% accurate with weather forecasting.
I find the format so easy to understand, the visuals clearly show what one can expect in relation to the days weather forecast, love the rain drops at the bottom of the page, giving a visual of the amount of rain fall one can expect.
Some other apps contain lots of technical detail, which I find are difficult to understand. This app uses plain language and good visuals to show one what to expect over the next 24 hour period.

A Visually Elegant App
I use this for more than just weather. This app provides an opportunity to travel the world. I find myself adding cities that I would never have the chance to see. I've added Cape Town, Istanbul, Moscow, Paris, just to name a few. I like Paris because I get to see the beautiful rain and sometimes lightening effect on the screen. Yes, I've had some issues with the app not working or crashing, but it has been few and far between. Maybe I forgot to update the app and they had already caught the problem. I like it. I'm pretty sure they added a cloud effect that makes you see the clouds moving. Subtle and very nice. Somewhere a developer is saying, she totally gets my ideas.

Nicely designed but not enough information
It’s great the way you can quickly see what’s forecast over the next few days. However, you can’t get any detailed information beyond that. Therefore, it’s mostly useful for short-term forecasts, i.e. looking at the next couple of days.
Great World Wide
This is the go to weather when travelling. Just tap on current location and you have weather for 10days. The input future destination then you know what to expect on arrival. So simple to use and no pop up advertisements.

I love Yahoo weather ‘cos it has amazing picture that link to the place and that r linked to the weather. Yahoo weather is fun and interactive it doesn’t have any ads and it is FREE!! Yes u heard me free I say free! So for all those dads out there who will only allow there child to have free apps this is the one!!

New look not that good. Very inaccurate
I I liked the older look as it had a better look. Was smaller and easier to understand. You used to do a quarter of a day but now like all other weather apps you try and be too clever and too local and fail miserably. You cannot predict the weather for every hour four days ahead. It keeps changing by the day. Your only accurate about an hour before when I can just look out of the window. All weather apps seem to suffer from this to be honest. . No change from the above. Not accurate but that’s endemic of these apps

This is a great app
It is of the most useful and frequently used apps on my phone. I can check how high or low the temperature is going to be and dress accordingly, see how likely it is to rain and when — up to ten days in advance!
If I’m planning a trip somewhere, I can similarly just go to my list of favorite cities and check what the weather is now and will be for the same ten days there.
And so while arranging to meet friends, family or business colleagues anywhere else on the planet, I can be on the page for their weather and time of day to converse intelligently and sympathetically with them.
And in the immediate term, about to go out for a late bike ride, I can check the minute of sunset, the wind speed and direction, the air quality and the likelihood of rain, up to and including weather radar!
