  • By far the best

In my humble opinion, this little app is invaluable to beginners in the Irish language. The accent and voice to me, seems convincingly authentic, unlike some other apps that utilise AI generated voices. It has quite a large vocabulary and a great many off the shelf phrases to get familiar with. I’ve downloaded a lot of other Irish language apps only to very quickly delete them. This one however is a keeper. Go n-éirí leat

  • Brilliant

Great design and ease of use!
  • Love it

Tried the free version then had to get the full version. The pronunciations are great to have as the words look, well, unpronounceable at times. Agree with another reviewer who mentioned dialect. I have previously been learning the Donegal/Ulster dialect, which I would prefer, however, I'm going to continue with this as at least I'm still learning Irish. The prompts really work too, as they really encourage me to open ap and have a go. Anyone know just what dialect this ap is teaching? It would be good to know.

  • Good but

App looks terrible and needs a redesign, looks like a app from 2010. But the concept and actual learning part is great
  • HELP!

I purchased three languages from your app and seem to have NO way to switch between them and no way to get help!

I love your app but if you have no way for me to switch back and forth them I want a refund
  • Great for learning vocabulary

Helpful to hear the words and to explore other words to learn the sounds and meanings in Gaeilge.
  • I Wish to Speak with an Irish Tongue

I’m becoming familiar now, small steps, step by small step slowly; words unknown are beginning to bud and are revealing the possibility of their flower within. I’m hoping that in time when I might speak it, with still some distance to travel, I might yet find that Irish garden of sweet scented flowers that I’ve always been seeking and hoped to live beside.

  • Irish in the U.K.

Being proudly Irish in the U.K. 20 years, an Irish Patriot and currently working for an Irish hotel group, working in public areas, having grown up in Rural Ireland, I’m almost ashamed at how bad my level of Irish really is and I’d like to improve it - I’d also like to find out if there is a way that I could forward a link via email to those in our hotel via our HR manager so that our staff can better serve our guests

  • Love this easy to use app

If you want to learn some basic phases, this is the app to use. Very clear, easy, concise. Love it 👍👍👍👍
  • Fantastic!

Really enjoying this app! I’ve been using Duolingo, but I always worried about it not having as much audio of the words.

This app plays the audio for all of the words and you can just set it to play a category and it will go in a loop, playing and showing the English word, then a pause (which you can set the pause length yourself - LOTS of customisation settings), then the Gaeilge word.

I really like that feature as I can type or drive or do stuff around the property and just listen and repeat the words.

    Brilliant!
