Great start
This app is a great start to learn basic Greek. I’ve found no way to ‘favorite’ the words you want to focus on learning. The only method I’ve found is to decrease the temperature of all OTHER words so they appear less often in rotation which feels backwards. I also wish I could ‘link’ words to always practice them together (for example hello and goodbye, yes and no, good and bad), I’ve found it easier to remember those types of words (opposites) when learning them at the same time. I am doing ok I suppose when I use this site but due to illness I don’t always feel up to it but it is a good programme. Sadly notifications come up but because it is in Greek I don’t understand and can’t read the notifications. It’s all Greek to me !Tia298

The app teaches words and phrases I will actually use. Also includes audio for each phrase, and the ability to record your own audio and compare it. No ads. Recommendedjoemce2

Out here in Crete as I write this review … I can say that I have had fun as the app is so user friendly .. I have been able to learn words quickly and grasp a little understanding in a very short time. I was using the light version but after I saw it’s potential, I made the full purchase which in my view was so cheap (£9.99) for what you actually receive. As many reviews on here say ‘you have to put the work in to get results’, I agree, but it is great fun in the process. I have given the app 5* and have also downloaded Nemo German for the future … however, one language at a time … Well done to the developers… Yammas 🇬🇷Show lessArchosking

And it would be much better if you had the choice of hearing the Greek word first and afterwards the translation. I don’t give 5 stars because the email for feedback was kicked back…fghnbguhccnjunv
Wonderful app!
I have learned more usable and necessary words in three days than an online class or Duolingo! Duolingo is helpful for learning how to read the alphabet, but this app is helping me prepare for real life situationsshante prashante
Good but..
I really like this app. It’s been really helpful in helping me learn. I particularly like the fact that I can create a favourites list of words to focus on and add to it as it I go. But.. I have the purchased version which provides 1408 words. That’s loads.. but for learning conversation this app could be so much better. - The tiles can show the gender of the words but it will show “m” or “f” or “n” when it could say “ο,” “η” or “το” (or their variants). This could be done without adding speech. Just replace what’s there with the correct gender preposition. - verbs are not shown in all forms and tenses. - some useful conversational words aren’t included and there’s no way to add them. I would buy add on packs if it helped me. I’m learning with a teacher now and I use this alongside. I went for a teacher as this didn’t do enough on the conversational stuff. Come on Nemo..
