Poor use of notifications
This app continually sends notifications labeled as “breaking news” for non-important and out of market stories. Also, opting out of sports notifications does not stop notification of sports scores and stories. The app itself is also very glitchy, even on late model devices. As one of only a few local news stations in Lubbock, they should do better.

A lesson in how to not do ad supported apps.
There are literally so many ads going on in this app that it lags even my iPhone 13 Pro. I understand there are costs to offset but when you degrade the performance of your app for them you’re doing it wrong.

Some of their stories can be misleading because it says false information probably to get the attention of viewers overall I would not recommend getting this app
Remove ads
For the other star, can we please have an option to remove ads for a nominal subscription fee? Thanks

Love the Everything Lubbock app as it keeps me informed of Lubbick News. My son lives in Lubbock and works at Texas Tech. I like to keep up with what’s going on there where he lives.

I live in Middle Tennessee, but I'm from West Texas. Lubbock, TX will always be home. I enjoy seeing and knowing what is going on. My only complaint is I can't share some of the stories. This is not cool.
