The app will not show me everybody. I have received “likes” and can’t see them. I hit the “like” button. The person with disappear never be seen again. There’s nothing in the app that shows me who I sent a “like” too. I discovered if I want to see who “liked” me. I had to go to the “like” section click the search button and type in a letter… any letter and if there is a “like” with that letter in the name… a person will pop up. I sent an email and got no response. Even at the time of this review… still no response.
This latest version is criminal. Taking away features of an already bare bones app for money is next level greed. You can no longer see all your likes at once. This is extremely frustrating, especially since there’s so many low quality profiles to parse through. Please revert to the older version, as I will likely stop using the app if it continues like this.
If I could I would rate this app negative 1 stars why notifications don’t come in even though there on on the app and on my iPhone app settings reason number 2 there’s only one way to communicate and that is by texting blink is way better yes u have to video call / audio call no texting on blink and swiping reason 3 this app isn’t voiceover accessible I mean you can use voiceover but it doesn’t read text messages view profile info accept matches I’ll complain I’ll bet the developers wouldn’t make this app accessible ✌️

My mind was blown to find guys with my chronic illness, and I was very excited to contact them however I can tell this app is new and small and it doesn’t look like there is any way to look back at the people you liked or see how old their profiles are. Who are these men, can I contact them directly? When were they last active? I was very much hoping to go on dates with people who have my diagnosis but it looks like there’s a good chance those profiles are inactive. Not sure how many women are on there but on the seeking men side it’s a pretty small number.
Pretty sold out pretty news still. While there are several spammers and fake profiles, Dateability is working very hard to clear those out very quickly. They’re not allowed to linger on the site for very long.

It has some usability/stability issues and could use more robust filters and profiles. But the primary issue is that so few people are on the app, though that’s not something the developers alone can fix.

Regarding our user base, we have over 14K users across North America and are growing every day. While our reach expands, we made the location function optional so you can see people all over. Many of our users are open to long distance companionship and we’ve had a couple of success stories that started out long distance! When I got the the section where my matches are shown, I changed the filter options so I would see matches that fit my criteria of age range and how far away they live from where I live. Once I did that I couldn’t find anybody that lives in my area that is using this app even though I live in a big city and a big metropolitan area. This is a great concept. It would be great if there were users on this app in my area.

One suggestion would be to turn the location function off—a lot of our users are open to virtual/long distance due to safety and accessibility. However, if that’s not for you, help us spread the word! We’re confident Dateability is going to go viral in 2024 and when it does, we hope to see you on our platform!Although that the app can help individuals find love, it unfortunately hasn’t worked out for me. However, just because the app didn’t work for me doesn’t mean it can’t work for someone else. I would suggest maybe marketing/advertising more to get the word out about the app to have more users and maybe an even higher probability of finding love.
