It seems like a good app so far but hopefully more people sign up because it keeps showing me the same people a lot
Phenomenal & inclusive dating app specifically for the chronically ill & disabled community! It’s hard enough in this space without additional assistance needed and I love how this company’s strategy is centered around fostering a community here. TY for creating this app!
This is an amazing idea for an app! More people should join the app, as the selection is fairly limited right now (because it’s a new app). I expect it will become one of the top dating apps on the market soon, as it allows disabled people a way to date without having to worry about being ignored and/or fetishised!
I tried to make an account, and it used a name I no longer use for myself by default. I couldn’t change the name so I deleted the app. I redownloaded it, and now it won’t let me sign in.
So I am visually impaired and voiceover did not really work with us. And when I was trying to select all my things for the basics, it wouldn’t go through, and it kept telling me to enter a required field. Also, it was not allowing me to upload pictures, or descriptions. Amazing concept but needs work

Hey! We can assure you that we are doing everything we can to prevent these spam accounts from joining Dateability. Unfortunately, they are on every social networking/dating app. We are constantly reviewing reported profiles and acting accordingly and have added the profile verification process. Fortunately, our user base is growing every day and we have thousands of real, genuine users just like you looking for love! We hope to see you back!If you are patient and a long distance relationship is what you want, this is as good as any. But it takes a LOT of vigilance to weed non-disabled scammers who seem to me to inhabit most matches in our community (bet we seem like pretty juicy targets). Also, for s group naturally mobility challenged and not affluent, it’s not a great experience if your average “match” is 2K miles away. Almost better to be transparent on a mainstream app with hundreds of profiles in any major markets.

Hi there! We are brand new so while our user base isn’t as robust as the other dating apps out there, it is growing every day and we have many genuine users looking for companionship! Each profile has a report/block button so you can report any fake profiles you come across. We review these every day and remove any suspicious users immediately. We also implemented a profile verification process, which makes it a lot easier to weed out these bad actors. Unfortunately, this is an issue on any & all social networking apps, but we are committed to making Dateability a safe space and the best app the disabled community deserves.Your app is not accessibility friendly. Many of us need the ability to select text for various reasons. For me, I need to copy text and paste it into a reader. This functionality is not present in the messages section. Other than that I like your app.

The app store screenshots are pixilated to the point of being illegible, there's nothing to see but the TOS on the website if you don't have an account. I want to be able to see more before I signup. Let me at least see mockups before completing a profile. Profiles are also missing some key information for a dating site. When entering profile info it should say what's visible to others, I expected a note or an * next to birthday for example.

Swiping left doesn’t guarantee that’s the last you’ll see of that profile.

Hi there, we take the presence of bots very seriously, which is why each profile has a report/block button. These reported profiles are reviewed by us and we remove them from the app if we deem them to be fake. The next update will include a profile verification feature, which will help remedy this issue. As far as our user base, we just launched a few months ago and it takes time to grow a community similar in size to the other apps you may be used to. However, we are confident with time we will get there and will be the go-to app for this community!
