Perfect if you’re looking for a simple journaling app
If you’re trying to emulate the feeling of writing in a normal journal, no bells or whistles, this is the app! I always felt that some of the other journaling apps were too over the top. I just need a place to jot my thoughts down and this app does exactly that and adds a sleek look to it too. It also allows for extra security with a Face ID lock feature!
Only down side it that the double tap on the Apple Pencil isn’t supported to toggle between different tools but I’m sure it will eventually get there.Show lessTropicBeetle
Simple and easy journaling.
This is all I needed to start journal again. Minimal convoluted features. Just WRITE! A search feature cool be a useful tool to find specific details in entries as well. Great, thoughtful design and great work!polaroidseven
Tons of promise, small additions would make it near perfect
I’m a photographer as well as a sailor and I to compartmentalize my journaling into 3 apps. One for my ship logbook, one with gps for photography, and a handwritten diary just for my feelings. I have been using a paper notebook for the latter, but this app may be what I’ve been looking for! I would ask for two small changes before buying the full version:
1) Pinch Zoom functionality similar to Goodnotes. I have nerve damage in my hand and find writing without the ability to move the page with my non-writing hand uncomfortable.
2) A separate undo button in the toolbar, instead of in the menu, ideally near the top for left thumb use. Toolbar customization would be welcome as well.

This app is exactly what I wanted! A simple journal app with a lock. No book to keep up with or have stolen and my entries follow me to all Apple devices! Love this app!Aprthax

What a great and simple app for the iPad/tablet. I am currently doing my first journal entry and i like the app a lot regarding its format and style. I am planning on buying the full version (unlimited entries). It also has a feature where you can lock the journal with your fingerprint which i think is pretty cool.Show lessSonicTheHedgedog

Wrote the biggest journal entries just to be told on the 3rd day that i have to pay $8 to keep going??? Very lame and i cant even export what i did write.Monkler da 1st

Hi and sorry for the inconvenience :( We decided it might be best to offer a free testing phase with a one-time payment without ads or subscriptions afterwards, if users like our concept. To make that more clear we just added a new version which states more clearly this trial mode. Also, we added a new PDF export feature so you can export your entries as PDF :) Thanks again and all the best!Apple pencil double tap not working
Very simple and straight forward app so it’s all great, but double tapping your apple pencil doesn’t reverse back from pixel eraser to writing. You can only change one way so hopefully this bug can be fixed soon.Gagamon

Great app, although I think the feature that would make this amazing would be a way to export, or back up/sync via iCloud.
I want to write knowing that one day I can have all my entries backup somewhere without the need of an iPad.chatzi09

I gave one star for each fee entry I was able to make. I finally started a journaling habit for my mental health. Day 3 I was very disappointed this “free” app now wants to charge me. I guess the developer left out that info in the description?fskhorram

We're sorry that you had a bad experience with our app. We offer a free trial of two entries to check out all functionalities and make sure you like the app before the need of any purchase. The purchase is a one-time purchase and afterwards everything is unlocked without the need for subscriptions or the display of any ads.
