CUSTOM FONTS - It’s now possible to upload and manage your fonts directly in Linearity Move, without the need for third-party apps. - A new button located in the font selector in the Inspector allows you to upload fonts with just a click. - You can also import several fonts at once, without any extra steps. - Linearity supports multiple font formats, such as TTF. If your fonts are zipped, you can easily unzip and start using them right away. IMPROVED MISSING FONT EXPERIENCE - When opening a document with missing fonts, you'll now receive an immediate notification via a popup, informing you of any unavailable fonts. This makes it easier to address font issues upfront. - The popup offers quick solutions, allowing you to resolve font issues more effectively and keep your workflow uninterrupted. - Text elements with missing fonts are now flagged in the Inspector panel. A warning button will appear, and clicking it will open the Missing Fonts Popup, giving you direct access to resolve the issue right from the Inspector. - We've added a convenient batch-replace feature within the Missing Fonts Popup. This highly-requested update introduces Workspaces and video support for Linearity Move, empowering you with enhanced storytelling capabilities. We will roll out Workspaces gradually, so it might take some time to show up for you in the application WORKSPACES - Workspaces introduce a new and convenient way to share your files and collaborate with friends, clients, fellow team members, and others. - Each Linearity user has their own Workspace. As a Workspace owner, you have the ability to create, delete, and rename Projects. - Easily invite other people to collaborate by adding them to a Project. Once added, they will be able to view and edit all files within that project. Only the Workspace owner can delete files. - Projects can contain both, Linearity Curve, and Linearity Move files. - All your existing files live within your own private project and will only be accessible to you by default. You choose who you want to share files with. VIDEO SUPPORT - You can now import video files (.mp4 and .mov) to your projects, allowing you to blend 2D animation with live action and more. - Simply import the video file into your scene, or drag and drop the file directly on your canvas. - You can position, scale, rotate, crop, and even change the opacity, just like any other shape or image. - You can also add videos inside groups that can be masked. - You can also trim the start or end of videos and define the video clip you want to use. —–– We're on a mission to empower designers with the ultimate tools for bringing ideas to life.
