So I knew, before I downloaded this app, that I could only monitor one tank unless I paid a subscription. What I didn’t know was that I couldn’t choose which tank it was, the app automatically picked the tank which was currently on the screen of the desktop unit. It appears there is no way to change, so now the app is monitoring a backup tank that doesn’t need monitoring on a daily basis.
By the way, the app setup process is poor, it makes you switch off the Wifi on the phone, then claims it has failed to connect when in fact it seems to connect OK. After installation, the app triggers an update on the desktop unit, which screws up the tank unit battery and signal strength readings, they’ve gone from 60% signal and 100% battery to 17% signal and about 15% battery.
There is an option to delete a desktop unit from the app, and after deleting it I was able to connect to it again with the correct tank selected. However doing so triggered another update of the desktop unit and as of 30 minutes later the battery and signal readings are still messed up on two of my three tanks.
