Great to respond on my phone
I’m so grateful Indeed went back to an app to communicate with applicants on the phone. The app functions well & I have enjoyed the ability to access my job position anywhere.sarah2moore
Unusable
It takes away the usefulness of the website and condenses it to a useless list. The website has gotten worse also.BKK in NJ
App won’t work!
Just keep spending saying that it’s updating, but never stops and never goes to the application. It simply just doesn’t work.The Harley's
Garbage
This app is so limited in its ability that it is abundantly clear indeed is more geared for employees than it is for employers. Half the time the app won’t even display the resumes. Very disappointing!Kj361
Job details?
Indeed has issues across all of their platforms that make it difficult to navigate as an employer. This app is no different. When you have a job posting on the screen and click the three dots, then “job details,”.. there is nothing but a spinning icon. Simple features not consistent with web experience
The app is simple. And I love that. Until yesterday, loading someone’s resumé was non-existent. Seems like that bug and format was fixed.
However, I add about 3-4 custom questions for each applicant to answer. They are softball questions, like, ‘what are your short term and long term goals?’ and ‘where would you like to vacation?’
When someone applies now, I get a standard email and I can see the custom questions answered right in a one-page review before I even go into the indeed web platform. Would be so easy to add this into Indeed Connect.
I don’t care about the answers to my questions, but it weeds out about 50% of lame applicants that upload a resume and apply to 10 other job positions that indeed recommends they apply to.
Help us (employers) help you. Indeed is a great platform, but if you could help us more easily weed out candidates that were unresponsive, robotic, and lacked bare minimum human behaviors and skill sets, it would give us a leg up to hire quality leads and appreciating the quality of the platform more than the quantity it provides.
