Great!

This app is great!
The best & simplest note taking app ever!
However itโ€™d be greatly appreciated if it could support doc files & ppt files so i could have all my lectures in one place

Itโ€™s okay.. if it werenโ€™t for all the bugs

Itโ€™s a good app, and really has potential. Iโ€™d really use it over notability or good notes, but itโ€™d be better if it had the ability to record while writing. Not only that, I really wish the add collaborator option really worked, whenever I try to add, nothing ever happens. Iโ€™d really like to use that feature to work with others. Other than that, I would have given this app a five star.

Perfect for handwritten notes

I am really impressed with this app for handwritten notes and some basic sketches and ideas. It lacks a few features, but it has all the features that I have actually USED from other very popular note taking apps. Plus, in terms of responsiveness of the pens and brushes, they seem both more flexible AND more responsive.

I am really enjoying this app, in many ways it is more precisely what I have been looking for in a note-taking app for a long time.

Feels really good to take notes in!!

Best note taking app I've used, pen writes really well and the ui is straightforward and not cluttered or visually distracting. Been using this for all my class notes. Some things that would help me out a lot is the option to add subfolders so I can keep my course materials more organized, and a search function that you can access from within a document without having to go back to the main screen

Most beautiful note-taker ever.

Element is by far the most beautiful writing experience on iPad. I am a longtime GoodNotes & Notability user, however, this app beats them by a margin when it comes to UI and Apple pencil โœ๏ธ writing experience. I still use GoodNotes or Notability but if/when this app adds more features like converting text, favorite pen colors, pencil to shape and other features, I will definitely switch over! Also, i did buy the lifetime deal which is a steal, by the way. However, I hope the developer reads this and thinks about a more sustainable business model because i think youโ€™re charging too low for you what you have! Definitely try it and buy it if youโ€™re in the market for a amazing app ;)

Awesome

Iโ€™ve used two main note apps, my handwriting looks awful. I liked aspects from both note apps but wanted to find one with everything. I used this app for the first time today and will be rewriting my notes from both other apps that I use. I really like how the pens make my handwriting look and how much more like my actual handwriting it is. This will be my app from here on out and I canโ€™t wait to see what else is added to it!

Problem when exporting

I love to write with this app. The pen is one of the most beautiful/smooth one Iโ€™ve used (and I tried numerous note-taking apps). It also supports pencil hovering if you have an M2 iPad, which is pretty cool. The downside is that, many times when I annotate on a PDF file and export it, the PDF content just disappear, and I can only see my annotation on the exported file.

Good but costs money

Sadly, it costs money for the amount of notes, exactly why Iโ€™m not using it, I need more than just 3 notes/files. Itโ€™s just upsetting

Almost perfect!

If this had a Mac app and also had bookmarks, I would immediately switch from Goodnotes!

Finally, a great notebook app

I have been through a lot of note taking apps through the years, and Iโ€™ve finally found one that works for me. This is simpleโ€ฆexactly what is needed. Easy to find options, not too many, etc. Coupled with the Apple Pencil, itโ€™s a game changer. I can finally dispense with the many other tools I have tried and failed to use successfully.
