Free, efficient, and powerful
I initially turned to CollaNote as I was sick and tired of having to pay for simple features such as creating a new notebook. I’ve tested Apple Notes, OneNote, Notability and Goodnotes, and none of them are as simple and well organised as CollaNote.
The main attraction here is the app’s price: free. Whilst there a premium version, I honestly there is no point in buying it unless you are an artist and need more brushes and utensils. Furthermore, you can create an infinite amount of infinite folders and notes, and even customise the background of each page, to whatever suits your taste (e.g. lined, graph paper). As a fountain pen collector, I was thrilled to see they have the option to write in fountain pen for free.
I have been using CollaNote for 2 months as an A level student, particularly for maths and drawing. If writing large amounts of text is your thing, it still works very well for that too. I have had no issues whatsoever with CollaNote and so would gladly recommend it to anyone else looking for a free note taking alternative.
