This app is for use with Abbott rechargeable devices including the Eterna™ Spinal Cord Stimulation system and the Liberta RC™ DBS system. The Patient Controller (PC) Application was developed by Abbott for people living with chronic pain and movement disorders who are treated by Abbott neuromodulation devices. • iPhone 15 iOS 17.6.1

Why is the iPhone 15 iOS 17.6.1 not supported? Same iOS as the iPhone SE that came with the stimulator or iPhone 14’s. Abbott please do better and think of your patients please.
  • What is wrong with Abbott?

I have had an scs for 22 years. I am on my 5th one after recalls and other issues. The only way to control the unit is with an iPhone. I have to carry 2 phones because in spite of the app saying it works with iPhone 15…..IT DOESN’T!!! So I must carry my iPhone 14 and 15. The iPhone 16 will be available in a week or two and Abbott still hasn’t fixed the app to work with a phone that has been available for over a year. They refuse to respond to requests for an explanation. I have had enough! This is medical equipment to make patients quality of life better not stress them more than the chronic pain does!

  • iPhone 15 access

I’ve been waiting for the last year for Abbot to to make this App work on the iPhone 15. Every other App can do do this, many of which are ready to go before new iPhone models are released. So what is Abbots problem with this? The iPhone SE you provided from the beginning won’t even hold a charge for one day. I’m frustrated with the wait and therefore wouldn’t recommend Abbot for anything.
