Child loves it! But can’t color purchased items without internet

My 2 year old loves it and i thought it would be worth the purchase to use when there’s no wifi, such as car rides or plane rides, but when there’s no internet, we can’t use any of the purchased coloring pages. Sadly, It’s not worth the subscription after all, unless this is a bug that can be fixed.
