The app is very easy to use. If you turn your phone sideways, the picture fills the whole screen & you can operate the direction of the camera. It can rotate all the way left, straight, all the way right, up & down. You can watch your property on mute or with sound. You can speak, take a picture, or record. There are several more icons on the main menu: siren, motion tracking, night mode, playback & gallery (requires a card to be inserted), etc.
Using it at night was a wonderful surprise, because itโs very clear even on a night with heavy rain. It still detects a person approaching our home. The nighttime camera is BRIGHT while the camera rotates. Itโs no joke or cheap toy. When motion was detected at night, this camera LIT-UP and took a picture. The next morning when I checked my phone, there were notifications banners on my phone as well as photos saved under the messages on the app.
This is far more useful than our doorbell camera. We can use this when we travel to AirBnBs, Vrbo, etc. Great affordable purchase to protect your real estate, vehicles, your regular deliveries, & even your body due to the siren feature. LOVE IT!!!
