Best Music App Around!

This is the best app out for music releases – I honestly won't use anything else to release music again. You get to add notes on each track, get insight on # of plays per track or by listener, easily add new tracks on the fly, etc. But, the best feature to me is being able to hot swap different versions of tracks while the project is live – it also timestamps when that track was added so you can see/choose a specific version.

Subscription

Was the best app ever but the subscription made it significantly worse for me to use

Great product, sad it has to cost money

I've been using this app for a long time and have absolutely no complaints. I especially love the UI, it's smooth and really nice to look at. the functionality is great too, i've had no issues with it and it makes uploading music a streamlined and easy process. I was sad to learn that a subscription element would be implemented and unlimited uploads would be paywalled behind it, but i do understand that the developers somehow need to make money off of this and considering the quality of the product, it definitely makes sense.

Simply Heartbreaking

I’ve been an advocate for this app since I’ve got it back in August of 2023. It’s made storing and managing my music so much easier than using the default apple folder system. When I seen they added a premium barrier behind music storage, it truly broke my heart. My friends and I loved this app because it was completely free not only to use but to share and consume not only our own media but others as well. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the reason behind the paywall. I just wished it was implemented better and locked other features instead of the main reason for getting the app in the first place. I believe that if they put the features like recording audio, password protected folders, allowing folder content to be downloadable by others, and their editing service, it would be much better for the average user. Additionally the developers could add more options like theme settings and time limited links (links that stop working after a set time period) which will give users a better reason for purchasing premium. Please remove the track limit for free users.

Started off cool

This app started some thing built perfectly for your unreleased music, but now that they’ve started her subscription plan they are pulling the most corniest to try to trick you into buying their plan. Once they started the payment subscriptions, I had 125 tracks on the app, they claim since I was an early user I got an extra three tracks without paying for a subscription so I would then be able to upload 128 tracks and theoretically if I were to delete a track I would then have 124 so I could just keep uploading till I hit that 128 mark. But what they do is every time you exit the app they sneakily take away uploads so now, instead of having 128 free uploads I only have one 116 because they keep taking them away, trying to trick me into running out of space so I can buy their plan. I wouldn’t have had a problem paying for the app, but trying to do sneaky things like this is the reason I’m not going to, I just move my unreleased music back over to SoundCloud.

Sadness

Used to love this app till they introduced a paywall

i think a shuffle button would be great

DatPiff 2.0 πŸ”₯

Honestly this app is really great and the UI is so clean the only criticism I could come up with is when listening to a song with a long title on mobile it’s impossible to see the entire name. Asking for an update that moves the song title like a ticker to allow us to read the entire thing or something like if you tapped on it, it would expand to show the entire name. Thank you!
