Disappointed

App is hard to follow took me 20 mins to work out how to start why not just have start training button instead of navigating through you tube videos
Will persevere for the free 3 day trial and if not finding it user friendly will cancel before I pay £50 was so looking forward to this and now sadly disappointed
Also asks your base speed but without spending another £100 how do you measure that

Very disappointed

One of the main reasons I chose the Rypstick over its competitors was the fact it didn’t require a subscription. It now cripples the app if you don’t have a subscription. There is supposed to be a code that gives you a 1 year subscription to the “pro” plan but it doesn’t seem to work.

Apparently my one year free subscription was for less than 2 months.

Beginner

Need to have a beginner get to understand what is going to happen video

Slow start

I think that persistence is the key to using the Ryp Stick. Through level 1 and 2 I only trained with the exercise and stretches on training days and I admit I was not the consistent. I have seen gains

Level 3 I joined the Ryp stick team and now getting more workouts. I did see more improvement.

Starting level 4 but with a more committed ATTITUDE
Doing all the workouts given. This is a game changer. I look forward to the next 24 days and expect more gains

At 66 I am at 104 and I expect to do better

Can’t enter baseline speed

I have tried doing the baseline speed test 5 times every single time I get to the end and when I click finish nothing happens. I’ve tried closing and reopening the app, deleting and reinstalling and closing and waiting 24 hours but it never proceeds past the finish button.
This app was really good but it just doesn’t function in its current state.

Not letting me type in real speed on monitor

Not sure why. Maybe a bug?

Needs work

Not bad - but needs work.
Things like ‘up next:freeze swing’ - but during the countdown that disappears - so if you didn’t see it it’s gone. Easy enough to have the countdown with a ‘now doing a….’

Should also address inconsistency - just takes an average but doesn’t show any interest in why there is 8-10mph differences in swing speeds - should we be looking at that and trying to figure it out??

I am a believer!

I am always looking for ways to add distance to all my clubs, especially my driver. I have tried several different shaft upgrades, different training regimens, different weights if clubs. Nothing really improved my speed. Then I started using the Rypstick. I started training in beginning of May, and my baseline was 95 mph. I did my training every other day, and started to see improvements right away. I used to have trouble getting to 100 mph, that was always my goal. At the end of May I averaged 108 mph! Incredible results! Thanks to the Rypstick, I have seen an increase of 40 yards, on average, for my driver and all of my irons are about one club farther. I highly recommend the Rypstick, and make sure to follow the training, it really helps!!
