Greedy
Was a fan till they got greedy and started charging for the app. Will not support anymore.
Value is not there with no app to support
I spent $200. Why can I only go through level one training on the app? I wish the app would show me all the levels and how to use this amazing device. not worth it if you don’t include include the training.
Training in app was free now a paywall
I have used rypstick from the days when the plan was a pdf download. Then the app came along with free access to all swing levels, (which should /and was free for using the rypstick).
Otherwise you are paying a subscription to use the rypstick. Now they have put in a paywall to access some of swing levels and even the achievement table on there.(that's peculiar)
To be perfectly honest it's disappointing that something that was free is now being a pay wall. I normally reccomend rypstick to others as the value for money was clear. It appears they are now following a speed stack system of trying to garner more and more money from a user.
Another aspect is the app email they sent advising about the paywall states you can upgrade to pro for free, but it just links to App Store and the app only offers 50 percent off. So it's a bit of a shame even existing users that are offered cannot redeem the free upgrade which appears dishonest

Swing speed
The app doesn’t allow you to see your 5 swing speeds when doing your average.
Also it doesn’t allow you to look back over previous averages.

Suggestion
App works well but it could be better if during the swing parts you had an audible click countdown so while I’m swinging I can hear it. Versus having to try and swing and also try and see how much time is left. I like the warm up routine.
It works
We have been using the Rypstick off and on for approximately two years. Between this and a fitness regime, we have been able to make improvements on our club head speed. I am over 60 and have increased my club head speed 5 to 8 mph - getting me back to my younger self. My son has improved his speed by 3 to 5 mph. The Rypstick team is excellent to work with and it is a great way to improve both speed and strike. It is easy to use and the speed training workouts are balanced to your level.

Rypstick training
Awesome training tool to accelerate your golf game to better scores
First Day:
I’m 66 years old and tired of hitting a 22 degree rescue into any par 4 over 400 yards. I swung my driver, before starting the training, just like I would on the first tee. Under control and hoping for the fairway. The Rypradar indicated an average of 85mph. After the first day of training my new baseline as shown on the radar was 101 mph. Admittedly, I was swinging as hard as I could and doubt any ball hit with obe of those swings would be playable. But it’s encouraging to know that the speed is there. Looking forward to the rest of the process.

Great tool, easy to use!
This is an easy to use app that made the experience of using the Rypstick easy to follow and made tracking my progress and my students progress as simple as can be.
