  • My fav sequel of a game

I usually never write a review, no matter how much I like a game. But this has been the most amazing sequel of a game I’ve ever played. I didn’t even know there was a cozy grove 2, I only have the first one on the switch, which I barely remember to play. But I’d say I enjoy this one much, much more than the first game. There was definitely a huge improvement. You are able to get spirit logs much faster, finding things is much easier as well, in my opinion. The instructions aren’t as confusing as in the first one. There’s much more tasks to do as well. I love the look of the new bears as well, and how one of them have they/them pronouns. It’s very inclusive. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Love this game so much.

  • Cozy, cute, creative!

I don’t normally write reviews, but I’m really enjoying the cozy Grove Camp Spirit. It is a lot of fun and it is so cozy if you’re looking for a cozy game definitely check this out because it is super fun. The story seems very interesting and it’s so cute.
  • Lovely cozy game

I’ve played the first version of this game on Nintendo Switch and loved it. I was hoping that the mobile game would be as fun, and I wasn’t wrong! I love everything about it, the laid back gameplay, the collecting, the graphics and the music. For someone with anxiety and depression it’s really helped me, and it’s my new obsession!

  • Wokey Grove

I LOVED the first Cozy Grove. I probably put 100 hours into it. This time, however, the developers have decided to indoctrinate our children with their woke ideology. Early in the game you meet a bear who calls itself a non-binary and insists you refer to it as a they/them. If that wasn’t bad enough, the bear then basically implies that anyone who doesn’t agree with or support their ideology is a hater. Not everyone who disagrees with your worldview is a hater. People just see the world differently. It’s funny that it’s the people who are demanding tolerance are the most intolerant. It’s a shame that game developers can’t just focus on making a good game. No, they have to always insert their politics and alienate half of the country. It’s a shame because I was really looking forward to this game, but I refuse to play a game made by people who hate others that don’t agree with them.

  • Pay to play

I was very excited to try this game. But after it downloaded and opened I see that I must subscribe and login to Netflix. I don’t use Netflix and I don’t want to. This game should not be advertised as free, as it is not free to play. This should be clearly stated on the app page, or it should be in a separate section of the App Store. Not cool Apple. Pretty disappointed as it looks like a nice game and reviews are good.

  • Worthy sequel to the OG CG

I’m 45 days into my Camp Spirit journey. It’s a great game that I make time for every day. Making money is a bit grindier in this sequel; in the original you just planted as much fruit as possible, turned it into tincture, and got rich. I miss easy mode, but there are a lot of profitable recipes in this version, so purchasing in-game storage hasn’t been too difficult. The discord community is really helpful with finding ways to make coin.

The game play is similar to the OG; you run around helping bears find peace in the afterlife while trying to get yourself back home. The themes are similar, but different enough from the original that the stories are engaging. This one is very modern; the first bear is a podcaster stuck on the influencer treadmill. Another story line is about the stresses of landing VC funding and keeping the wheels of a business turning. I’m guessing that Spryfox is writing from life.

  • Love this game, wish it wasn’t just on mobile

This game is so lovely, calm and peaceful. I look forward to playing it each day. I just wish it was on switch, I find the controls really awkward on mobile and I think I would enjoy it a lot more on switch.

  • Very pleased <3

I was initially hesitant to play after hearing that the second game would be on mobile, having played the first game on pc I imagined the controls would be frustrating. However, this could not be further from the case! Running around and doing tasks is so simple and straightforward, it is actually quite refreshing as I had often times been more confused trying to figure out what key does what on my pc, while here I can just tap the screen and do everything I want. Gameplay has been very enjoyable so far, I loved the first game and so I look forward to continuing to play spirit camp, thank you!

  • Love it, however…

I played the Switch version and loved it. I’m really enjoying this game, I’ve played every day since I downloaded it, the only problem is that multiple times in a play session (anywhere from 1-3 hours) the app will randomly close. I try to remember to save but I was rearranging my campsites and hadn’t saved in a while and lost all my progress after the app randomly closed down. If that can be fixed it’ll be 5 stars easily.
