Supported their LaserPecker 4 campaign on kickstarter, and that was the biggest mistake I ever made. Waited 5 months longer than they predicted to ship the machine. 8 months later I’m still waiting for my air purifier. To make it worst after waiting so long and giving them my money, the app does not work properly. Sent them a detail video email about what is going on, was not helpful at all. Now the shadiest part is now they are pushing a newer laser after collecting and closing their campaign on kickstarter, rather than fix the software for their existing customers. Every other review on here is bad also, should have gone with Xtool!
The machine is great, but the app is completely trash. It is always freezing when starting a project.

I had the LP2, and was pretty happy with what that little laser could do, so I decided to splurge and get the LX1MAX, and it has been nothing but headaches from the purchase date. The latest update in the app now just disconnects every time I try to load an SVG file into the design space. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! So the only thing that my very expensive paper weight can do at this point, is engrave or cut designs made within the VERY limited design space. There isn’t even a duplicate button for crying out loud! DO BETTER!
After a great experience with LP2 (which was easy to use right out of the box) I bought an LX1 to increase the size of engraving. No matter how good the LX1 may prove to be, this app is Absolutely Terrible!!!
And now the “update” just makes my machine disconnect when it’s supposed to start a job. Seriously annoyed with this software.
I honestly cannot believe y’all have the technology to create the machines you make, and your software is this raggedy. The save function, completely ruins your file. It will not open the way you saved it. That’s if you can even get it to open at all unlike the blank projects I get even though the icon shows my actual file. You cannot convert text to a cut. You can’t convert any file in fact. You cannot trace SVG files. You cannot work between your computer and mobile applications because the files do not save correctly and look nothing like the originals. You cannot directly open a file, unless you are already creating, it only lets you select photos from your photo album. The worst part is advertising that it works with a competent software, like lightburn and giving us literally no guidance how to use it safely being that they are completely different parameters and settings. Your software is oversimplified, and you expect us to go into lightburn, and somehow know what to do? The icing on the cake is that when I use lightburn to design my files, because it is equipped to do so more adequately, and save as an SVG-Your app somehow seems to still mess up the design and import a completely discombobulated design. I’m so over it. So now I have a really expensive machine that can only communicate with a dud of an app that has the most basic functions like a “duplicate” missing from it. Please fix this immediately. It is ridiculous to sell technology this advanced and couple it with a piss poor app. If you’re basically going to force us to have to use your app on these machines, it needs to do 100% WAY more than you have programmed it to. By the way there is NO contour preview as falsely advertised.
