Failed when scanning. Now can’t complete the process. Keeps asking to scan a QR code which I don’t haveHorrible
Lack of information in the app to navigate, is asking to scan a QR, bur I have not idea what and where to find the QR the app is asking to scan, a pure waste of time, the developer must work on the information they app is requesting to complete the identification of the individual that is using it. Honestly this app is fine and does the ID process as intendedPossibly the worst app I’ve ever used
I’ve tried 4 times to use this app and have never been able to progress past the passport scan section. Using an iPhone 14 without a case the app was unable to scan the passport chip, and what is more annoying is that it only gives you one chance - if it fails the app times out and tells you that you’ve failed the identity check. I now have to contact DDC AGAIN, to tell them I still haven’t supplied my passport. Useless.Show lessDeveloper Response

The code required to complete the process will be displayed to you as part of your online journey. There are several steps to complete before this to confirm that digital identity is an option for you. If you are still having issues then please make contact with the customer service team who will be able to advise you directly.Strange UX
Took a picture of my passport, scanned my document. Document scan failed and no I have to contact an agent to retry. How does that make sense??Developer Response
Thanks for the feedback. Please make contact with one of the team who can let you know which part failed and provide tips on how to successfully complete the process. Not all Passports can be verified digitally and the team will be able to guide you through the next steps to undertake digital identity, or revert to existing steps for your organisation.Abysmal

Please make contact with the Customer Service Team who are available to guide you through the verification stages, and highlight the best way to proceed with identity document validation. They can reset the journey and let you know which of the three stages were completed, or provide tips on using the app.Not easy to use
Poor app no instructions staff on phone line trying to help app poor
Despite being told by ddc there are agents and written information it was the ability of the app to pick up the legal image of the passport - agents confirmed it was sensitive however picture was taken in broad daylight no shadows and still could not be uploaded nothing to do with instruction seems the system has faults or maybe passport office needs to change how they upload images however never had issues before when sent photograph for dbs in pastShow lessDeveloper Response
