I recently saw an advertisement for Places on the high street and was intrigued. I promptly downloaded the app, excited to explore what it had to offer. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration when I discovered that I needed an invite to access the app.
There was no mention of this requirement in the advertisement. It’s quite disappointing to see such a crucial detail omitted. I hope the developers consider making the app more accessible in the future or at least inform potential users about the invite requirement upfront.
Until then, I’m giving it one star for the misleading advertisement and the poor user experience.Show lessroazca69

If you see the marketing for this app, don’t download it unless you have an invite code. Upon opening the app, it immediately requires your phone number—After you provide your phone number, it asks for an invite code and does not let you proceed any further without joining their waitlist.sfx18

Good but could use some work
Seems to be a bougie version of yelp. Personalized recommendations are great and all but it needs something else special to keep me on the app.
I agree where it should have a feature like neon coat or beauty pass to incentivize people to try certain businesses.
Also because it’s connected to Raya - would love to see a social dating aspect to this like if certain places hosted happy hours and then people could go specifically to meet with other app users or have meetups with their dates there.
