No image or video thumbnails

As title says. Despite other similar apps being able to show or decode image/video thumbnails.

Response from developer

The app is able to show thumbnails for images with Exif data if you enable this in settings. Would love to improve in this respect. Please email me at anders@s3files.app if you are ok answering a few questions.

The best Iโ€™ve found

Iโ€™ve tried a few other iOS/iPadOS S3 apps and this the best Iโ€™ve found especially for the price.

Iโ€™ve genuinely found this developers apps to be well written. I currently use their iOS git client, WorkingCopy, and ssh client, ShellFish. Iโ€™ve run into no issues from any of these full featured apps.

The developer is responsive to communication.

I have no problem parting with my money to support their further work on all of these apps.

10/10 recommend.

Amazing Utility

Being able to store and access S3 buckets from Shortcuts is a game changer for me. Saves me tons of time, and allowed me to fully automate some processes I had never been able to before. Thank you!

Issues with S3 Minio

โ€œA server with the specified host name can not be foundโ€, constant errors while trying to use Minio S3, buckets show ip but no files, just that error. My service is configured and works perfectly fine in other apps it just wonโ€™t work in this one.

Response from developer

Iโ€™m not sure what the problem is but the app has been tested to work with MinIO and probably it just needs to be adjusted for some detail in your setup. Please email me at anders@s3files.app and I will do my best to get this working.

Amazing app

I use this app everyday for work. I always need to upload and browse files that are in an S3 bucket. This is such a streamlined workflow for it. Thanks.

Great application

The best s3 client for iOS!

Some requirements:
1. synchronous feature to backup my photos to my s3 bucket automatically

2. Configurable aws endpoint for no .com endpoints

Response from developer

While a photo backup feature would be super useful and is something I'm working towards your second suggestion isn't clear to me. You are very welcome to email me at anders@s3files.app such that I can better understand these configurable AWS endpoints and ponder how they can be supported by the app.

Allows me to connect to my storage!

Great app and easy to use.

Show Number of Files in a Directory

Is it possible to show the number of files in a particular directory on an S3 bucket?

Response from developer

If you open a directory inside the Files app and scroll all the way down you will be shown how many items are in the directory which includes both files and subdirectories. You can sort the directory by Kind which places the subdirectories at the top making them easier to count by hand to determine the number of files by subtraction. Unfortunately I can't customise the Files app to make this easier, but I will investigate if there is some way to expose the number of files when browsing inside the app itself.

Exactly as advertised

Does exactly what it says it does, which for a utility like this is exactly what I wanted.

No longer works

App no longer works

Response from developer

Sorry to hear that. If you email me at anders@s3files.app I will do my best to get things working again.
