  • Good, not great

As an OF subscriber for several years, I was excited when the app first got released. There are some definite positives, including an outfit for every day and a clear shopping list. OF encourages closet shopping, so I usually don’t buy new clothes monthly. But if you’re just starting out or need new clothes for any reason, the updated links are really helpful.

There is still room for improvement, however. I would really like a way to import my own clothing items and recreate the formulas using my own pieces.

I also think I wouldn’t mind seeing fresh pieces each month if I had a bigger closet and I had everything I own out at once. But I find myself digging into my clothing out of season storage to pull out items often, since I have only a small reach-in closet. For me, the previous seasonal capsules were a better fit than the newer, monthly format. I do find myself wearing more of my wardrobe this way and I know that’s a positive for a lot of users.

I would recommend this app for anyone who needs help putting outfits together. Especially those who have a big closet full of clothes, but they find themselves wearing the same outfits over and over. Outfit Formulas will definitely pull you out of a leggings and t-shirts rut!
  • Love this program!

Outfit Formulas has made shopping and getting dressed a breeze. The decisions are made for you, or you can take the suggestions and put your own spin on it. I have been using it for 6 months now and I love that the app shows the monthly calendar and you can click on the links to get specifics. Very happy with it all!
  • OF is the morning easy button

I’ve been using OF now for 2 years. I have found it to be invaluable in building a wardrobe that I love with pieces that go together. The app has been a game changer. Easy to access and I love the links for shopping and ideas for colors that flatter ME!
  • I Feel Confident Again

This app is truly amazing. I have been stuck in the chaos of my closet for way too many years and just wearing sweats and tees. This app has helped me clean out my closet, keep the items that are truly staples, and shown me how to style outfits. I have even been able to add some new pieces in as I go through the season calendar. This is a must for any woman, whether you work outside the home, in the home, always on the go, stay at home mom, all women!! The app helps you create well put together outfits for your lifestyle by utilizing most of what you already have and boosting your confidence in the meantime. A++++
  • Obsessed (caveat: I’m over 40)

This is the app I didn’t even know I was searching for! I’ve been buying up all the “capsule wardrobe” pieces that influencers recommend, with no clue how to put them together. This app lets me shop my own closet and keep it fresh.
One suggestion: I prep all my outfits for the week on the weekend. I wish there was an option to snap a picture on Sunday of my, say, Thursday outfit, so that, come Thursday, I can quickly remember the accessories that I picked to go with it.
  • Won’t recognize my subscription

I paid $19 for a month of this, but it won’t recognize this fact on the app. Instead, it traps me in the trial version advertisement which I don’t need because I already paid for a month.

Since I cannot access the service at all anymore (with three weeks left on the month I paid) I have to give it a one star review.

Having said that, I think that a prospective purchaser should know this: the website provides you with an outfit for the day (with options to dress it up or down ) using common pieces (example: solid color top or neutral pants) that you use throughout the month. They also give you links for purchasing those common pieces, or similar looking items.

That’s pretty much it. there’s no option for the consumer to track which pieces they own, or how many times they wear it. I wouldn’t say it’s worth $19 a month to be honest.
  • Great for people 30+

I am 24 & I can tell this app isn’t meant for me. The outfit choices are great if you’re older than me. When I turn 30 I’ll redownload this app. Great outfits choices tho!!
  • Like the App still needs some tweaking

I really like the app and the calendar. Here’s a suggestion…have the check marks from the closet staples tab carryover to the months where that item is used in rotation. For instance, the White Tee is a staple item. It is used in rotation February, March, April, May,June and July. I should only have to check the closet staple box and app should populate all the months it’s used.
  • App that helps you get dressed each day

This has been my favorite subscriptions for a few years. And now that there is an app, I can check the outfit of the day so easily. Each month there is a new calendar to show you how to mix and match pieces in your wardrobe (or go shopping and buy a few new things) and you’ll feel confident getting dressed in stylish and on trend looks! You can dress up the daily prompt (there are tips on how to do that) or dress down if your day is more casual. Outfits can be modified for climate and lifestyle. There is also a group that you can post your outfit photo, ask questions, etc., which is so supportive. I highly recommend Outfit Formulas.
  • Great App

This is a great app to help you plan your outfits. There are suggestions to dress up or dress down an outfit, so the outfit will work for whatever you are doing that day. Youbp don't have to buy new clothes. You can shop your closet from the description. Highly recommend.
