Great concept, if you fit the target demo…
I love the idea of this app, both as a way to wake up and as a fun way to generate a little bit of money. Unfortunately, it seems to be designed for a pretty specific type of user. I really wish the “wake up” could be scheduled for anytime during the day, for those of us who don’t have the typical 9-to-5 lifestyle.
It would also make a world of difference if there was some sort of notification option. When I did try using it, I felt like I needed to obsessively watch the clock and not do anything for a few minutes before so that I’d know exactly when it was time to verify.
I also felt like there were days when I couldn’t risk scheduling a wake up because I wasn’t sure if I’d be at home or somewhere else. If I wake up early, I’ll try to run errands. I felt like I needed to stay home in case the photo was something I couldn’t find out in public. It would be nice if there was maybe some way to indicate whether you were able to take photos of household stuff vs. “out and about” things.
I really hope the app develops into something that fits with my lifestyle. I enjoyed it the few times I was able to use it, but there were definitely more hurdles than benefits.StrikingOutOniTunesThisA.M.
A scam
Don’t waste your money. I woke up on time and took the picture with over a minute and a half on the timer and the app didn’t load fast enough to approve my photo. When the timer ran out it told me “oh no you missed your wake up” and I was out over $40. I contacted support to try to resolve this issue, and they have ignored me for many days at this point. Don’t give them any money, you risk losing it based on whether or not the app works when you wake up.Ejjddjebwhekjebed

Interesting concept but it works
Skeptical at first but I had a few friends using it for weeks now. Tried it myself and it actually venmoed me money !! I've been earning a steady stream of money since I upped my deposits. Free coffee everyday basically !mnndydang
Actually good
Paywake is actually good I had my doubts but it gets me up I can have a very productive morning before work and I make some money doing it. If you know waking up early is good for you but you’re struggling, this will FS help.Nicoyuh
Best App to make lunch money
As an early riser who consistently wakes up at 7 for work every day, it’s very nice to have app an app that rewards me for something I do everyday. If you are also in the business of getting paid to wake up, I would highly recommend getting this app!Dohmaster
Game changer!
Paywake is legit! I set a ton of alarms every morning and never really get up until I have to but Paywake actually forces me to get up.
Adding integration with Venmo also made things much easier since it I can now use the money that’s basically sitting around in my account and increase it. Haven’t paid for coffee in two months 😂Davwl
My honest opinion about this app..
Okay I was skeptical at first but the technology proves itself. It’s a genius idea tbh, not only does it motivate me to wake up on time (something I struggle with) but it also helps me make money.. sounds like a good deal to me.Tots90$
