App review from Richard

I am a retired traveller who likes to maximize my stays abroad. I have tried many similar apps and found this one to be the most intuitive by far to use. It clearly identifies when and for how long I can plan for my next trip. Congratulations on creating this brilliant app, well done.

Response from developer

Hi Richard. Thanks very much, I am so pleased that you appreciate my efforts to make the app easy to use. Enjoy your travels! Alice at Crocodile Sandwich

Brilliant

This is the ideal app if you travel to the EU for more than the occasional holiday. It does what it says on the tin. It’s easy to use and it’s accurate. Get it for less than than the price of a coffee on your plane and save yourself a nervous breakdown trying to do it the hard way

Thanks so much for your appreciation.

Does’t work.

Just bought this bug I just get a blank screen when go to add a trip. Nothing to help me. It’s crap and I just paid 3£ for an app that doesn’t work!

This is a rewritten reply as although I originally replied to you immediately to try to find out what the problem was and help you, I have never had any response at all. So I still don't know for sure if the app really crashed or whether your device happened to have a problem at that moment. I understand that you were frustrated and upset to encounter a problem, but it's not correct that there was "nothing to help", you could have contacted me through the App Store listing and I also put my email address, contact@crocodilesandwichapps.com, in the original reply. And it's not true that the app in general "doesn't work"; like all apps on the App Store it has passed the Apple review process. A former iOS bug could occasionally have caused an app to crash, if a button were tapped outside of the menu, calling a pop-up screen whilst the menu was open. If that is what happened, you only needed to close and reopen the app and it would have worked fine again. Apparently that bug has been fixed, and my app has been updated with protective code to ensure that the crash cannot now occur, even on iOS versions with the bug. Ultimately of course, you could just have asked for your £2.49 to be refunded, although I would still much prefer you to talk to me and let me solve the problem.
