  • Not bad

Saw the advert and am glad that it actually has gameplay would be nice if you advertised the base building a bit more speaking of would like it if I could edit in roads And if you let us rotate buildings games used to do it all the time it’s a basic function that would enhance building bases so much more I prefer to have my buildings organised having them in random places feels too messy not only that some of the decorations and buildings feel like they have no size perception like the bench for example it’s the size of a two story building and your two story buildings are the size of a single story building

  • Needs work! Updated

The game itself is somewhat highly enjoyable. However you’ll quickly notice it’s a pay to win scenario. The whole having to pay £9.99 for other builders & researchers etc will clearly show this . Seriously needs amending it takes the enjoyment out of the game very quickly. By all means advertise purchasable content but to a fair limit that way consumers can play and choose to purchase any content without feeling forced to. The whole rewards from events and mobs needs re work to it’s all pretty much the same try offering stamina rewards shields etc within the time I’ve played I’ve grown bored very quickly my only regret is the money I’ve spent with very little to show for it . You’d make far more by giving the consumer a fair choice and allowing them to play longer.

Updated: I am certain this game has hacked me! So after linking my profile to game account I noticed every thing linked to my email, including private information has been hacked social media accounts every thing. Another thing I noticed was unknown transactions from my credit card. Along with this the in game store prices are inaccurate they charge more than advertising according to my statements. Stay clear !

  • Still a scam imo

They say it’s not but it is a scam. The part of the game that’s fun is what you see in the screenshots, however the game is more akin to pay to win games where the aim is to get an alliance drop a ton of real money into it for free upgrades and more builders… everything costs and the game is a money trap.

State of the game is in bad shape too. All regions are run by a small handful of alliances that you won’t get into unless you pay to win, you can expect getting raided hourly by any of the major alliances, with little to no recourse for stopping it unless you pay to do so… everything about the game is designed to take your money and keep you losing so you keep paying.

If I could give it 0 stars I would.

  • Open War Game!

Well I’ve only been playing this game for a short time but I find it over taxes my data use to much for me to continue to keep playing. I’m not terribly happy about how often I’ve had to update the game to keep up with everyone. Good to see the game has been upgraded for some of the reviews I sore on google search but even I have needs for my data use elsewhere!

Thanks but there is still room for improvement!

  • Addictive but not similar to the adverts

This game is good don’t get me wrong. But the adverts are well polished over exaggerated versions of the reality of the game. The ‘gun runs’ that are advertised are a very small part of the game, of which when you progress, less and less of this type of fun is available. It becomes a bit more like any city building empire. Collect ‘supplies’ of all kinds to build your city and advance your war characters that will be used in different battle scenarios.

  • Why Lie?

I have played this now for 40+ days and have yet to see the part of the game shown above in the advertisement. It’s pretty fun. Kept playing to hopefully be able to play the barrel rolling, shooting math game, displayed in the Ads. Still have not seen this!!
It’s a F2P game that I have spent $10 on so far. You have to join an alliance, participate religiously ( log in 5x’s/day for at least 30 mins) and only use resources at specific times to be successful and level up. I’m definitely closing in on a money wall, to be able to level up. I’m about to stop logging in all day, because my new role at work will not allow me the time. Due to participation rules of my Alliance, I’m sure to be kicked! Without an active alliance, providing awards, gifts, and rare resources, it will be near impossible to level up.
Anyway. It has been good enough to get me to play for over a month several times per day. So, $10 well spent I suppose.

  • Don’t waste your time

You can slide under the radar for a little while, but then someone who is slightly more powerful than you can attack you relentlessly and destroy everything you’ve built. The only way to get around it is to spend a lot of money. If they wanted the game to be fun to play they could limit the amount of times you could be attacked.

Edit: I was asked to elaborate using in app support, but I have no idea how to access that. The game allows other players to attack you over and over until you have nothing left. The troops who survive take twenty four hours to heal at my current level, and thirteen hours to train a few new ones. That’s an awful long time of not being able to play the game. The only way around it is to spend money for speed ups and shields. If people who are several levels above you can so easily end your game play, then what’s the point of playing? If the damage could be minimized, the attacks limited to two a week, an automatic 24hr shield after a few attacks, recovery time minimized, if shields were much cheaper, or any number of other ways to make the game more fun for beginners, it might be worth it. I have no problem spending a few bucks here and there, but keeping up with the game as it currently exists would be a car payment.

  • Toxic players ruin it

Game starts out simple enough as a zombie attack game similar to the ads, and quickly devolves into a base building, resource gathering, alliance drama game. I stuck around as a mostly free player and got to a base of 22 when I finally got tired of the toxicity that seems to be inherent, at least on my server. Everything came down to VS events which is the same thing week in and week out of completing certain tasks for points which contributes to your alliance score in competition with another alliance. Every day is some new threat from your alliance that if you don’t have enough points, don’t locate your base in the correct formation, don’t donate enough, etc you’ll be kicked out. The game is based in china so most events happen at odd times. The straw that broke my back was the top alliance in my server mandated participation in an event that would occur at 5am my time. Non participation meant your base would be burned to the ground by the top players in that alliance. Just all around dumb and a waste of time and money if you’re the type that will spend to win on this kind of stuff.

  • Descriptions are weird, fix your push notifications

So came here for a different reason but just noticed how much the pictures to advertise the game have nothing to do with the app. Even the parts where you do do something with the side scrolling and weapons to mow down hordes of zombies don’t even look like the pictures seen. overall the game is enjoyable don’t know for how long but I’m not here to tell you what you can get from the other reviews. Other than that I just came to complain that you need to fix your push notifications. I’ve been plotting something on and hinged on not being found or attacked soothed by the comfort that I could respond right away if so so when I got a notification of one I went into the game just to find out somebody had already finished attacking me even though they had over a 10 minute march…I should’ve had PLENTY of time. My internet is fine. Not cool and it threw off my whole strategy, that shouldn’t have happened. FIX YOUR PUSH NOTIFICATIONS!

  • Honest review to those interested

As someone who’s been playing roughly since release, you do get to play the levels they kind of put out in advertising(somewhat). However, after you clear out around your base from the zombie stages, you realize the zombie fighting gameplay decreases in quality(and overall showing up) and you end up with a typical base building game where you repeat the same tasks and the 2% of zombie stages like the somewhat ads will reach a stop point since power level gained by your base will prevent you from beating the level(also you will never see large balls of zombies or huge mutants coming at you, nor being able to get upgraded guns(like machine guns)or helicopters in those stages like the ads). After I’ve reached my HQ level of 20, I realized the game strongly becomes a pay to win base building game that bombards you with purchase packs(longest amount of X I had to push to finally access my HQ was 7), so much annoying that the only pack I finally got was just to get a hero that wouldn’t leave my display.

In sum, you can be a F2P as I now am, but keep in mind if you seek interest in constant in-app purchase bombardments and being demolished by pay to win players, the game does become stale and will question why you even play in events or things such as Alliance wars.
