this app is okay!

it’s exactly like bstage which isn’t bad at all. we still get to message ateez, do live chats with them, see lives of them, buy things from here, and speak to them. although, i really hope things such as translate and free lives will be added. international fans cannot really speak to ateez as much without knowing the context of what they’re talking about! so please add features that will benefit EVERY atiny and not just some!!! 감사합니다!

Many Issues for a “Global” App

It pains me to write this but I hope things can change.

The “Pop” functionality for both artists and fans is painful to use. The chat moves too fast and unlike other artist to fan subscription services, fans cannot message if the artist isn’t online. Also unlike other artist to fan subscription messaging services, there is no rate limit. Meaning trolls are free to spam and flood the chat.

This doesn’t even touch in the lack of translation option which, again, is provided by other subscription messaging apps.

I would be more likely to recommend purchasing a subscription in the future if these fixes were implemented. As it stands, once the free month is up I likely will let my subscription lapse.

For the privileged few

This app is pay for play for a group that needs all the support their international fanbase can give since their native speaking fanbase is nearly non-existent. Yet, you must pay for content that other groups joyfully give freely and if you do pay, you won’t feel a connection to the group since there’s no translation feature. Only a company who’s short sighted, unrealistic and unnecessarily greedy would create a platform that alienates the very lifeblood and revenue stream of its artist. This is one of the most counterproductive platforms I’ve see any company put out and is unimaginably stupid for it concept. You are biting the hand that feeds you KQ, turn back before it’s too late.

Needs a Translation Option

Most apps like this offer a translation option. Bubble for Stray Kids is easy to do the in app translation. Ateez and Xikers deserve an option for their non-Korean fans to be able to easily translate what they are sharing with their fans. Otherwise, it’s a super easy to use app. Five stars if you add the translation option. Thank you.

good app but needs improvements.

improvement options - 1) They need to add an English translate option, preferably from Papago. 2) I noticed the POP! chat can be minimized when there is video playing, but not when it’s just the member typing. so if you can add the ‘collapse chat’ option for the live chat, that would be great. 3) I would like my POP! messages sent to save in the chat after it is over, so I can view what I said. 4) when a member crosses over into another members POP! chat, make their messages above the live chat, so they can see each other. 5) I found that I am able to scroll the live chat but to make it easier, maybe add a double click option to pause the chat before being able to scroll. 6) an option to view and save the profile picture of the members. 7) I understand the POP! live option not being able to save video and having a short time span but please let them be able to send a regular picture / video that we can save to our phones. 8) if a user has missed the POP! live chat, I would like something to let me know which chat that i need to read. you can make a red light on the members’ name so that I know who typed when I was gone.

love the app but almost everything has to be paid for

im of course so happy that there is a app to communicate with my favorite artists but almost everything has to be paid for. I understand paying for just 1 on 1 chats with members but having the live feature also be something that you have to pay for is not beneficial for all the fans that dont have that type of money to pay for it. That should be totally free for all fans to enjoy and watch their favorite artists on live. now also another thing that this app lacks is a translation button, obviously the artist speak in korean as they are kpop idols but a big majority of fans can not speak the language and theirs no way for us to quickly translate what they posted and or are saying in chats or on lives. over all there are good things about the app but as stated there are a lot of things that need to be fixed and i personally really hope they do get fixed.

You are so limited

You practically have to pay for every feature on the app, including lives.

Do not download. Deserves less than one star.

This app is very inaccessible to international fans, and to fans in general. In order to get the most basic of interactions, you have to pay. You have to pay for everything. Lives, chats, pictures, and they don’t have a translation option for anything. The lives also expire, so even if you pay for it, you’ll eventually lose access. This app is a money hungry way to bar fans from interacting with their idols unless they pay money every time they turn around. Other companies allow their artists fans to have access to photos and lives for free, but we are not given this privilege on TOKTOQ. This is a horrible move on the companies part. No new fans will be able to join in and view any content, and even existing fans won’t either. Lives are a big way fans connect with the idols, and this app puts a wall between that connection. This app is only for Korean fans, and it’s pretty obvious that KQ believes the Korean fanbase is the only one that matters. KQ do better. Your international fanbase is the one keeping that company, and those groups afloat.

Good but needs improvements

A really good app that runs smoothly and connects us well with the artists. However some changes need to be made to make sure it’s suitable to everyone. First we need a translation button for the live chat feature for foreign users. Second we need the chat box to have an option to be hidden as it quite annoying when seeing the members messages. That’s pretty much it for now.

Issues

It’s a great app just like B.stage, But the fact that International Atinys cant even get a simple translation button to understand the members is bizarre. Wanting to watch a live stream on ToKToQ You Have to have a membership. And if you do have a membership, You can’t record, The chat takes up way too much space, and the app sometimes lags. Its unfair to some of us Atinys who can’t pay to even watch live streams on the app that’s dedicated to Atinys who want to communicate with ateez to begin with. So please fix this issue, Its very unfair and also unfair to atinys who have payed but cant even get simple translation nor record live streams. Thank you
