First up, I haven’t used it much, so it could be user error, but it doesn’t seem to matter too much what level I set myself at, as the AI I’m chatting with seems to get a bit too excited and just runs away without me, so I end up just using the translator button so see what it said to me. Also, the feedback button doesn’t really tell me what I said in full. I think that would be nice. It tells me things like, “that was pretty good!” And suggests full sentences I could use for a different feel, but doesn’t actually say, “You said blah blah blah”, so I don’t know exactly how accurate I was. There are other little errors here and there, but overall, it’s quite engaging and fun and I’m excited to use it more!
I’ve installed it several times now, but when I start the app all I get is the blue screen with the logo… it just stops there. Running iOS 17.2.1 on iPhone 13.

Sorry about that. This sounds like a bug we had in one of our previous versions.
I believe your app will work again once you update to the latest version, together with some nice improvements we've added to the chats.I’ve been using Langotalk since it was just web based and it was first launched. The dev is amazing and has worked so hard. So many apps take your money and don’t care, but Ariel definitely does. The app is consistently kept up to date and just keeps getting better and better. There are lots of apps that you can use AI to practice languages with, but I honestly feel this is the best. I use it all the time for my Spanish and Portuguese practice.
This has helped me a lot to speak the language. But one complaint is that sometimes the replies are slow but everything else is amazing!
Honestly, this app is brilliant, it’s very fun and interactive. But, I do have a few bones to pick with the app. First, you have to email them to cancel your subscription, and I’m not even sure if my subscription got cancelled. And secondly, I wish when you use the translation option, it would put it in hiragana/katakana so you could actually read it off, because I don’t know Kanji so I’m not really learning what I’m trying to say.
Total waste of download
I’ve only been using this app for a short time, but I absolutely love it! The combination of being able to talk about the things I like through speaking, listening, reading, and having available translations is awesome. Also love how I can use it for hours without restriction.
I love engaging with my vocabulary and grammar knowledge through the chat!
Hi Ariel, I think this is an amazing app! It makes learning a language incredibly interactive. I would say my most current feedback is to make the DIY lessons go somewhere. When I give prompts to create a lesson, it creates a lesson. But then when I try to access the lesson, it just keeps loading. Keep up the great work in continuing to use this app. I think it has the potential to be huge.
love this app, all that it could use to improve highlighting the translation so that you can see what words are used in the language you are learning versus your native language!
