Reviews of Anytype

  • Private, my forever

I think of writing as a superpower. From diary to powerful strategic documents, anytype is the best writing tool for me. Especially because I know everything is encrypted, stored on my device and no cloud company can decide if i have access to the years of my writings
  • My Brain’s New BFF

Anytype has quickly become my favorite app for organizing everything. It’s local-first, which means all my data stays on my device, making it super fast and private. But it still backs up to the cloud, so I get the best of both worlds. Honestly, I don’t understand why more apps don’t take this approach.

The Mac and iOS versions are so well-designed and optimized for each device that it feels like an Apple product at heart. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll appreciate how powerful and versatile it is. (I hope they add support for Apple Intelligence this fall!)

If you’re looking for a fast, private, and seamlessly integrated tool that feels like it was built with Apple’s attention to detail, give Anytype a try. You won’t regret it!
  • My favorite notes app ever

I’ve tried so many, and this one is the best!
