Buggy - no support
I paid to be a sub to my favourite podcast but the videos won’t play on the app. There is absolutely no tech support. Does anyone even work here? Hello…?

Free app…whatever, but their bookkeeping is shoddy at best, with no respect for subscribers! When NP first started I got a “LIFETIME” membership. When the app came out I got a second “LIFETIME” membership just to show support! One year later, they changed me an annual renewal fee!
I tried to contact them directly…no response. I challenged the charge. My bank tried to contact them, and they got no response.
When the app first came out big promises were made…weekly podcasts, physical magazine, etc. Really all they do is rehash every story your already bored with by the time NP gets it published. On rare occasion there’ll be a self-serving analysis by Raheem (when he finds a way to interject himself into the periphery of the story).
My mistake was hoping finally having the app would make NP a better news source. It’s been a costly disappointment.

The National Pulse is a rarity. Fully independent, reader funded only, the stories are based in truth and provide unique insights.

Technical issues are frustrating
I signed up for pulse+ but frequently open the app to a blank screen. So I log out and can see everything. Once I log back in it’s there for a while but goes blank after checking back a few hours later. In either case I can’t open the editors notes as promised in the subscription. Even turned off my VPN to see if that helped, and it didn’t.

It’s frustrating when you’re paying for content on the app (I’m a Plus subscriber) and you have to deal with an app that doesn’t work. It’s about enough to get me to quit my subscription. I’ve been a subscriber from the beginning. I haven’t quit yet but I am going to stop being a subscriber if they don’t fix the problems with the app within the next month. I hate to do it but I can’t deal with the broken app anymore.

Does app freeze for anyone else??
Love this app, except it freezes or doesn’t open and show content about ever 2-3 months. I have to delete the app and reinstall, add password and it will work again. Anyone else find this problem happening??

If it wasn’t for Fleccas..
Absolutely a waste of $90 a year. Pulse is worthless without Fleccas and RRB. I know that a lot of the 5 star reviews are from Fleccas fans trying to do the right thing and help out the best new podcast of all time but.. they aren’t going to fix the app or website if they don’t get honest feedback. I have a few more months left on my yearly subscription and I will definitely not be resubscribing after that unless they fix it. I’d rather send Fleccas and RRB $90 to their P.O. Box then give money to pulse and the boys only get 40% of that. You guys should start your own site. I would gladly pay double to RRB and Flecca then the f@gś at pulse.. just saying

Great independent news app
I enjoy getting the news from non mainstream media and Pulse+ is a great platform for that and the greatest bonus land podcast of all time….Fleccas Talks.
My only complaint about the app is I have to keep re downloading it every month or so because nothing will load on the app every once in a while. This really needs fixed.

App doesn’t display information
I have a subscription to the National Pulse that I can only use on my desktop computer because the App doesn’t work on my iPhone. I can launch the app on my phone, but no articles appear on the screen. I tap the home button and outlines of the articles flash on the screen but disappear immediately. Don’t subscribe to National Pulse unless you can access the information on a desktop computer.
