  • A programming & 16-bit-ish art masterpiece

This game has unseated another game that I have put almost 1300 hours into. When you start, and only in the first 10th of a percent of your experience, you may as a jaded gamer think, OK, this isn’t half bad, but now what?

Then the unlocks start to happen.

I won’t spoil it… Just… WOW. I have been playing games for over 40 years now and the coding and perfect interface blew me away. Artists often get pushed aside in discussing the gameplay, but this is a tremendous retro art experience as well that reinforces your nostalgia. It feels like one has stumbled across the greatest lost 1990s RPG ever, though so many 3-D dice onscreen at once are probably way ahead of that era 😂

Just a tremendous game and even after being comfortably accomplished with a ton of new goodies, there is still more.

Thank you so much for the incredible programming — I can’t believe you can turn the game at any time mid-action to get a landscape view — and strategy gameplay and art.

  • Can't put this down

If you have played slaythespire then you know what you are letting yourself in for. This game just wont let you go. A true RPG experience with party management and every decision could be your last! So much depth and replay value and if you need some guidance this game has been out on steam for a while and there are some useful guides out there. Oh, and there are dice rolls, lots of dice rolls. Its great.

  • One of the most fun games I’ve ever played on iOS

Love the game. Very repeatable and tons of fun modes. My only qualm is sometimes, when you upgrade characters, they’re contextually worse than the character you already have. I wish there was an option to just increase a characters health as opposed to upgrading, if you choose to do so.
