Much cheaper than Uber! And now that you have the app, this is a great improvement. Keep up the good work!
First and foremost, this issue was with one particular driver and not the others who were friendly and professional.
My experience with both this app and the company was exceptionally concerning as there is no human representatives to speak to or way to contact to inform them of drivers accepting rides, then no showing, then taking your money.
If there is a number the only way to see it is by being in the cab, which is hard to do when they never show up.
I had one driver that would keep taking my requests, refused to contact me if there was an issue, if I was in the wrong spot or if I was still coming, anything that would explain why they didn’t show up.
I know this was possible as other drivers would call and I quickly was able to find them. And yes I do tip (20%+) and generally I don’t talk much, am just grateful to have a ride.
In other words I’m not being a problematic customer and my locations were obvious landmarks or large businesses.
Without any recourse with drivers doing this in bad faith and essentially refusing to provide the services paid for by the customer, or worse, making it easy for another person to steal the cab and have you on the hook for the bill, DO NOT USE THIS APP!
And only paid in person with cash.
Good app, but biggest issue is how you track a ride with some and be able to send to others for safety and or other safety features.
Much lower rates. The app makes it just as convenient as the competitors.
For all it’s faults (see below) still way cheaper than Uber or Lyft. Problems with the app are: 1. Fares for short trips always $3-$4 higher than estimates 2. App says driver is always 2 minutes away, even when they haven’t moved for 10 minutes 3. App doesn’t accurately show driver location; it’s not real-time
The UI is great IMO, but who cares when the core service fails.
Ordered a ride between two hot spots. App indicated a driver was assigned. After ten minutes of the cab avatar doing nothing, i tried calling the driver. No answer. I tried dispatch. Five minutes, they say. Nothing. So i just gave up.
You put in the address. It tells you a driver is coming in x minutes. You wait 2x that and they cancel. You try again and second driver doesn’t even stop at the location and you have to chase after his car. This is why Uber and Lyft get business here.
The app is great when it works, but too often the arrival estimates are terribly inaccurate. A two minute can very easily turn into 15-20 minutes…and that’s fine, I simply want accuracy
On the app it claims that it will take 4 minutes for the driver to arrive and it ends up being 25 minutes. This app really needs to be updated it’s terrible for users
Had great experience booking rides to Capital Hill and back from Belltown. Rides are affordable and on time.
